I was staying at the Fireside Inn just a couple minutes walk away, and came here for breakfast. As of that chilly weekend in March 2021, they have a covered outdoor patio. I didn't have anyone to share the infamous pecan sticky bun with, so I got the apple cinnamon scone - but no complaints! It was a darn good scone! When I go up to Idyllwild again, I'm definitely getting more pastries here.
I went for a late breakfast . Had a delicious cheese bagel. The man working the counter was very nice . He told me I can go sit down and he would bring me my bagel. The outdoor seating was beautiful and relaxing . This will definitely be my spot for breakfast when I go up to the mountain .

The Town Baker is now The Sunshine Cafe! Don't worry, the delicious caramel pecan rolls are still there. My husband and I enjoyed the friendly service and good food this morning. You can check them out online at www.the sunflower.online.
