First time at this restaurant, and we will be back. This time had the jerk chicken with rice and peas. Ma had the ox tail with rice and peas. Food was fresh and very tasteful. Served hot and we just can't say enough, so we will just go back again and enjoy. Oh yeah, ma also had the chicken soup, too!
Location is a Lil ruff, but PLEASEEEEE don't let that derail you. Hungry Joe's Jamican Rest was 🔥. HONESTLY EVERYTHING was fresh, the cabbage was bright and crispy, the Jerk chicken was moist, seasoned perfectly, and the rice and peas were soft. The plantain was good as well, but I wasn't a big fan of their patties, and we actually went back the next day to grab 2 because they stop preparing them at 5pm. We got one beef and one jerk chicken.
