I’m not from the area I was driving down from South Lake Tahoe, when we got hungry and stopped here . Wow this place is very nice so cleaned you look at the pictures in the wall and frames everything is spotless bathroom too , there’s a patio that looks amazing to hang out decoration is fabulous. waitress was so nice and also the young man who took the money. Food had so much flavor the chicken was made to perfection not dry so much juice it tasted like a fajita had grill vegetable chicken. We also ordered a torta was great. I wished I had my phone charged to have taken pictures.

The owner thinking that there are no people who speak Spanish and only saying bad words the food is good but it is disrespectful that he is with that vocabulary anemia people who speak Spanish and we know what he says I think he would not return

Chile Verde was not up to par. Rice was bland. The mole was sweet that I had on the burrito. Not my thing for a mole.
My third time here. Chips and salsa were an amazing start. I ordered the lunch Beef taco and cheese enchilada. Taco was full, flavorful and amazing. The cheese enchilada was a cheese lovers dream. Unfortunately there was too much cheese for me. I'll be back in the future. 2024 update.....Still coming and loving the food!!! Always my go to when passing through Ione!!!

Very tasty food. Loved the flavor and the portions. Cool atmosphere inside lots of NFL helmets and college as well. I ordered my food to go but next time I would definitely eat inside. Could be my new favorite Mexican restaurant, nice flavor to the food.
My husband and I stopped here for lunch before our trail ride. The good was amazing, so fresh. I ordered black beans and oh my they were delicious. The chips and salsa was very fresh, all our food tasted fresh!
We came here for our daughter's bday lunch and it was amazing. From the enchiladas and burritos, the food was delicious and gangster.

Love the food. Here on a Saturday evening ... it's a bit busy, and service is Abita slow. Really think it's because of the many take-out orders. That's understandable, though. The food is so good it's worth the wait.
Vegetarian options: Staff is willing to adjust a dish to accommodate a vegetarian diet. Very delicious!
Dietary restrictions: Always willing to make any dish dairy-free. Still delicious!
