Ambiance is lovely without being too fancy to just meet friends and have a relaxed meal. Our server was friendly, informative, and quick to give his opinion on his favorites without upselling, and his suggestions were spot on. Cocktails (Gin and Juice in particular) were balanced and tasty. Our table ordered all manner of steaks and they were cooked to request perfectly. I had the cioppino and I am SUPER picky about my fish stew. this one was near the best I've ever had (just needed a schmear of saffron aioli on the toast). We very much enjoyed our evening.

Excellent service and incredible food! Everyone was very kind. Their version of the beet salad was an incredibly refreshing, unique, delicious take on a classic. The portobello fries and mushroom artichoke pasta with hazelnuts (not the official name) were amazing as well!

Patrick and the team were great. The ribeye and swordfish were amazing and I definitely recommend the Pacific Steamers as a starter if you like seafood.

Nice atmosphere they accommodated our large party The Hostess and the bus boy went out of their way to help. Manager took our picture as we were walking in . Great atmosphere and tables were spaced apart so no one was in our area.

Not a bad place by any means. Just feels about 10-15 years old and could do with a spruce up. Feels like a hotel restaurant. Service was pleasant food ok (again more like a hotel). Overall a 7/10

We had a better exotics than our last Valentine's Day reservation (2020) where they were closed and didn't notify anyone. But, of course we underwood ... Covid and all. This year it was “good”.... My steak was overcooked .... My wife's salmon was a lot overcooked ..... my potato morany was cold! Therefore inedible. Not sure when we will be back as the food just wasn't great .... Our server, however, was grade !!!!

Went for Valentine's Day with another couple. The food and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable. It was refreshing not to see a price increase due to the holiday.
Excellent service, prompt and helpful. The filet mignon was superb. The dessert we ordered was carrot cake and I was not impressed. The only flaw to the whole evening. We will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our food and drinks. Cioppino was lovely, delicious burger, nice surf and turf all expertly prepared and presented. It was a Friday night and things felt busy but festive. Our waitress served us a round of excellent and generously sized cocktails, but rushed off without asking if we'd like any food to go with them. I had to chase her down to ask for this because she kept rushing by our table. Then—deal breaker—a smoke alarm sounded, deafeningly, for several minutes, really compromising the dinner, which was part of a job interview. I guess that can happen, though I've never experienced it in a restaurant, but the remarkable thing was that no one came to the table to explain or apologize for this great disruption. When I noted this to our waitress, she said it had also happened that afternoon at lunch, due to some malfunction in the kitchen! Pressed on the service issue, she seemed puzzled and offered us free desserts, which only one of my group of four accepted and took a piece of cake home to his kids. All in all, the meal was a flaw in the experience of our business dinner, as we couldn't get the remarkable noise out of our minds, and I ended up with a headache for the rest of the evening. I'd say Andrei's failed to recognize the seriousness of that disruption for a restaurant packed with Friday night diners, and on that basis I'll think carefully before going back there, as much as I appreciate the fare.

This was our second time dining at Andrei's. This is our go to restaurant when we come to Irving - usually for a concert at the Barclay. The food is wonderful with generous portions. The staff are all professional and they seem to truly enjoy working there. We will return!
