We ordered the lobster from the tank. It was fresh and delectable. The fish maw and crab soup was filled with both ingredients and delicious. Beef hau fen was a huge portion but not very well executed. The noodles were a bit mushy and not as well seasoned, beef was also a bit scarce in this dish. Service was quick and attentive. Ambiance was nice. Overall a very satisfying meal and will return.

I just can’t believe this restaurant could survive here…Food quality is exceptionally bad, I chewed on a rotten shrimp and raw flour which made me sick the whole afternoon…Please, there are so many options here for restaurants avoid it at all costs

I usually don’t write google reviews and especially the bad one. Went for dimsum lunch at 2pm. Very bad experience. The seafood Thai fried noodle, shrimp was stinky. All others was not good as well. The dimsum was pre made.Nothing fresh… The tea was bad tasting. I wish can give 0 if I can. Never recommend. Never come again!!! I puke after I left the restaurant. Horrible.

Really good Chinese food, the Mongolian beef and wonton soup are excellent. The crispy duck is really good too. I noticed prices went up a bit, dinner for 3 with refreshments was $110 I remember only a couple months ago, same dishes were around $80 So food is great but not digging the price increase. I do have to say that you get a nice white cloth table, staff is akways excellent and they serve quick!! If you order to go, once you arrive call them, and they will bring curbside, this is an easy convenient option if you dont want to dine and ypu can pretend you cooked it for your wife or girlfriend...lolVegetarian options: Alot of vegetable dishes with great sauce. Spectrum has lots of parking.

Dined in on a Sunday night, we ordered the dim sum platter and the Hong Kong style chow fun. The platter was okay, the chow fun however, was the worst tasting chow fun I’ve ever had in LA.

restaurant looked unorganized. A lot of service items in plain view of guest for instance a large stack of To-go containers and other traditional "back of house" items in plain view. Service was inconsistant.

They didn’t have the fish dish that we wanted to order although it was on the menu. We then ordered Hong Kong Style stir-fried pork ribs. The dish came out far from the authentic HK style 生炒排骨. It’s supposed to be crispy and tasted sweet & sour but it tasted like pork stir-fried with brown sauce. We are very disappointed. Don’t order it. The dim sum sampler tasted ok. Service is good and the restaurant display is clean and pleasant.

Great dim sum. I wish they still had the carts, but the food is as good as ever. Pork buns? Wow. Everything else? Superb.

The food was spectacular ?. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet dinner with an elegant atmosphere from the room decor. We were greeted and seated right away. Our first serving of greentea was pleasing for the dinner time service. The pork dumplings were filling and ended the night with taro sago( tapioca pudding) . Can't wait to visit again. ?

We had never tried Capital Seafood before. We were meeting friends there. Parking is conveniently just across the street. Our server was friendly and patient in guiding us through the menu. We ordered vegetable egg roles, hot and sour soup, chicken congee and a tofu vegetable dish. Everything was delicious, and our table had a lazy Susan, which made it easy to let us serve ourselves. We will definitely return.

Food is below average fast food Chinese at premium prices. This place benefits from location, and they try to make it a family style Chinese restaurant on the interior but the quality of the food is terrible. Our vegetables weren't fresh even after they were fried, so much salt, and the meat portions were small for a 27 dollar dish. Don't go here. There's better Asian food in spectrum and Irvine if you just drive a few minutes.
