This is a great local ice cream spot! They had many (at least 20) different ice cream flavors. After being informed their most popular flavors are something with Oreo, I ordered the Coffee Oreo and Birthday Cake ice creams (I ordered both in a small cup). No wonder Oreo is the most popular as both flavors were full of large Oreo chunks. The ice cream was flavorful and had a great coffee and cake flavor. Note they do not offer samples, but from what I saw, I’m not sure you could go wrong!

Got mine delivered and it's delicious.But for them to not put one spoon or napkin was kind of disappointing. Horchata - love the consistency it's not super milky but still creamy. Strawberry cheese cake - milky for sure but the cheesecake bites are amazing. Cookie dough- it's ok. But deff horchata is the fave and doesn't melt easy.

Came here on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy. I was surprised by the long queue waiting outside in the cold! And that only meant one thing - the ice cream would be great! The server was patient with my kids and let them sample before they made their decision. And believe you me, there are a lot of flavors to choose from! There was some confusion with one of the flavors by the server but my kids loved their ice cream! There is ample seating outside.

After lunch my boyfriend and I were looking for a dessert option. I could tell he was looking at ice cream shops so I suggested Handel's since we have not been to this location. They are located at the Marketplace by the Edwards, BLK coffee, Corner Bakery and Veggie Grill. It was happenstance that we came on a Tuesday when they had a $3 for their Small Scoop. The Small was actually like 2 and a half scoops of ice cream. We normally like to split our scoops but Handel's did not allow for that on the small, unlike most of their competitors in the area. We ended up getting a small Lemon Bar ice cream in a cup to share since we both enjoyed that flavor. Nice tartness with creamy consistency and nice bits of crust. It was good. We would definitely consider coming back on Tuesdays. He was joking that we could have splurged for our own cups but I reminded him how we struggle to finish that small together, how would we finish two separate ones? Plus it's more romantic to share :)

Handel’s now have parlours in quite a few cities in California. They serve delicious i cream. I have become a fan of their’s. Various flavours are available. You can also opt for different sizes. The sampler, is good as you can get 4 of your choice flavours and you can share. This parlour we visited, was in Market Place, Irvine/Tustin. Next to the cinema. Good lively place with amole seating outside where you can enjoy the ice cream as well as the ambience.
I love the Tuesday $3 deal!! Definitely worth it on Tuesday and they give a good portion of it as well! They have so many flavors to choose from and they have special seasonal flavors. My favorite is the Mango sorbet and the Apple Pie for the holiday/fall season!

Delicious ice cream! I love that there's a variety of flavors because I'm not always craving the same thing all the time. You have your chocolate/vanillas, crazy flavors like graham central station/monkey business, and i believe this location even has matcha and ube. Our favorite right now is the blue monster, which is such a popular one because it has Oreo and nestle cookies in it. There's always a line of people waiting, but it goes by pretty quickly. If you want the best bang for your buck, get the 4 scoop sampler! 4 hefty scoops of any ice scream flavors that you want! :)

Really can't get better than Handels! Their flavors are out of this world. I love that they have a flight option for super cheap because it's honestly too hard to pick just one flav! I got orange dream cream, strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter brownie, and rocky road. $7.50 for four large scoops of ice cream. The staff was super helpful and patient while we sampled a few of the flavors. No seating inside so we had to eat outside and it was a little cold but so yummy!

Came to Handel's after my daughter's flag football game on Friday night. The positives with Handel's Ice Cream:Generous scoops: even the small size is a huge scoop.Numerous flavors: they have over one hundred flavors, so your kids are not going to be upset that they didn't get the flavor they wanted.The quality of the ice cream is pretty good. Is it artisanal small-batch ice cream? No. Overall I give this place a 4 out of 5.

Handel's will forever be a favorite. Amazing selection of flavors that never disappoints. I got the Monkey Business and Butter Pecan in the waffle bowl and it was great. There is always a line but the staff is great and has the line moving quickly. Best ice cream place in OC!
