I am visitor in town and we celebrated a friend’s birthday at Houston’s this past weekend. The food was delicious, but the service was a bit slow. But the server was very kind and removed the dessert from the bill. It was good dining experience overall.

Ryan was an amazing server. Personality + very attentive. Heads up Houston does not take cash anymore. Crazy but true.

Our family of seven have always been going to Houston’s for years with no problems. We had a Very disappointing experience tonight after they refused to accommodate our family of seven even in two separate table , their excuse being they want to create a “ cozy experience “. What a disappointing business model. What’s the message here? No families?? What’s the magic number 2 , 5 ???Where are we??? Hope the management would reconsider their business mode as it’s very offensive. In addition the hostess and the manager were so indifferent and rude!!

My family has been coming to this restaurant for years as a tradition, but will unfortunately never be going ever again. When we got into the restaurant we were denied dining because we were a party of 7, and the hostess said their booths don’t accommodate more than 4 people when my family of 7 have always sat at said booths for years.Another reason they couldn’t sit us was that they are focused on a “cozy and intimate dining experience” which is a completely ridiculous and pathetic reason. It’s really a shame because we always looked forward going to Houston’s. Hope the management will change.

Always consistently great food with polished service. I wish they’d bring back the tendies - but otherwise it’s top notch. Our favorite server is Robin - ask for her!

I have been here four times, yet every time I go I wonder "how did I end up here again" (business lunches/dinners chosen by other people in the group). All four times I have had a bad meal. French dip - trash, meat was bloody and cold, chicken cesar salad - trash, chicken was cold and slimey with blood veiny parts throughout (rotisserie not grilled), hawaiin steak, trash - meat was tough and cold. If you want a good meal, go to North Italia, Panini, or Puesto - all in the same parking lot and 10x better than this place.

Other than maybe the prices, there's not much to complain about here. Our waitress Bella was excellent and our food delicious. I had the pork ribs which were great. My son had the Hawaiian Ribeye ($56). We started with 2 traditional salads. For dessert we split an apple cobbler. All delicious. I noticed no TVs at the bar area which I thought was strange. Overall a beautiful restaurant with great food. Our lunch including a 20% tip cost us $171 total.

The nigiri is incredible. The prime dip sandwich was a flavor explosion… so good. The kale side was a hit. Kai was such a wonderful server. The chicken sandwich is okay. Normally I get the Hawaiian ribeye which is one of the best steaks anywhere. All in all more like a 4.5 star experience but Kai made the experience so lovely which pushed my rating to 5

I had a lunch there few times and was wonderful experience each time.Food: I had salmon this time and it was cooked to perfection. Moist but cooked well with wonderful sauce. Cappuccino was little bitter— hopefully they up their game on that.Service: our server was fantastic. Came to check on us but didn’t ask how it was in mid chewing lolSpace: it is always clean here. Plenty of table but recommend reservation.Parking is the area they have problem time to time. Restrain is in a yuppie area with few upscale restraints so we reserved 11:45 — still it was getting full and had to park far.
