Delicious Indian food. Reasonably priced. Outdoor and indoor seating for a quick bite. Good service.
They messed up my order.. and also Indo Chinese food was very average...
Authentic food. Clean space. And good service.
Went there to celebrate a birthday with a group of about 10 people. Had to wait pretty long to place food order, probably because of staff shortage. But once food was served, serving was prompt. I didn't like the ambience, lights were too bright, had to get it dimmed a bit. Not the best place for a birthday dinner maybe.
One of the best Indian Curries I've tried in the OC Area. I ordered a Goat Curry, which comes with the basmati rice. The curry flavor was so delicious and tasty. It tasted like slight tomato sauce with garlic and herbs. With no modifications to the spice level, it wasn't too spicy either! The goat had small bones inside, so be careful when you take each bite. It came with basmati rice on the side that goes well when mixing it with the curry. For $15, they give you a HUGE portion which took me two sittings to finish. Great quality curry and I'd highly recommend giving this place a taste :) 9.5/10
Mf at the register is rude af and they take forever to bring out a simple chicken tikamasala. I do not recommend that's all I'm saying.
The 2 item combo is such a good deal and the food was delicious. The gentleman working cashier and busser was super kind (wore a mask too). Would definitely recommend!!
Unorganized, they give orders to wrong people. Slow like sloths
I ordered online for takeout. I didn't get an email confirmation or anything saying how long it would be for our food to be ready so I waited a bit and drove over. It was waiting for me when I arrived. Also I wasn't sure if the entrees came with rice so I ordered it and it turned out they did include it so that was an unnecessary purchase. All that said, the food was really good and the portions were incredibly generous. We got two large meals for two people out of it with no problem. I thought the aloo paratha was fantastic and probably the best version of that I have eaten. We will definitely be back. I doubt we would dine in. The atmosphere was pretty no frills and the temperature was rather warm inside.
Tough part about leaving this review is being Indian and being extra particular about Indian food. This place may be more suitable for non-Indians. There was one mistake made, I wanted spicy tikka masala and regular lamb vindaloo for my boyfriend, they did the opposite. Even without them making my tikka masala spicy, it was really sweet and tomato-forward. The portions were huge, we didn't even finish a third of it. Basmati rice comes with it so do not order more unless you are feeding more. Service was just fine, just focused on getting orders together for everyone coming in.
So I ordered online and it said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there and the guy working said, "We did not get your order." I show him my order confirmation and he is finally able to pull it up in his system. Waited 30 minutes for them to prepare the food. No masks worn by cooks or any other staff. The guy working the front, whom I assume is the owner, has a major attitude problem just as every other low review has stated. No apologies for the late order at all. Food was just ok, won't be coming back. The low prices are low for a reason.
Person at the front taking orders was very rude and impatient, seemed like the opposite of someone you would want to be interacting with customers if you owned the restaurant. Food was good and price was average, but I might as well go to any other Indian restaurant in Irvine to get good food and good service
I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala. 4 stars because I got a to go package and didn't have as much chicken as expected. Garlic naan was decent and rice was good too. All in all will have the tikka masala again and would recommend.
This is my first time trying Indian food and I must say it was a 10/10 for me at Indian Curry Cuisine. The butter chicken is so flavorful as well as the "Palak Paneer," something that was recommenced to us for our first time eating here. Glad to say we were not disappointed at all! The paneer was so packed with flavor but it's not too overpowering and paired with their garlic naan...magical :) Definitely recommend coming here if you want some good eats.
Attractive price and nice people but as it is said you get what you pay for.. everything is a bit sweet.. you wouldn't like or expect every preparation to be sweet in taste.
