This restaurant is located inside of Zion Market (an amazing Asian grocery store that is closing down at this location). Hence, the setting is very much like a food court than anything else. That being said, the food was AWESOME. Like I did not expect it to be so good -- the stir fried squid udon was packed with flavor, strong Wok Hei (breath of the wok; it's a distinct taste) and the ramen was savory and warmed the heart. All for a decent price too! This definitely is not a sit down restaurant kind of deal; you order at the counter and they call your number. However, if you need a quick bite to eat in the middle of shopping, this is the place to go (and honestly I'd come here just to eat too -- it's that good)!

Got food poisoning from their California roll. Didn't seem fresh when I ate it and now I can confirm that it definitely wasn't fresh. Should have listened to the other reviews about getting sick. Looks like it's a trend. Maybe this place needs a health inspection.

I got sick after having a sashimi bowl, diarrhea for two days. She was nice, but the fish was not fresh.

This is my favorite spot for sushi on the go. I still haven't had a better baked salmon roll anywhere else! I also love their Spicy Albacore Roll. Their Miso soup always picks me up and if I'm not feeling right it always helps me feel better.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff, and nice to my daughter.

I ordered the chicken ramen. It was instant ramen noodles inside a "chicken broth" that was nothing more than chicken flavored water and grease with a few vegetables and half a hard boiled egg on top. Absolutely disgusting.

We ordered curry, poke and sushi. Sushi was stale and bad. Fish had dried out, it probably had been sitting in the display case all day. Poke was good, because it was after we ordered it. Curry was average. Overall, an average experience. I don't think I'll come back.

This is a place to go for quick grub to go. Food is not spectacular but it's decent food for good price. It's good idea to call head do you can go in and pick up then go.

Decent pricing, fresh fish, and awesome service. Small stand with table sitting area inside of market.

Great taste, pretty fresh, and great prices! I usually order sushi from Crazy Rockin Sushi on Alton. Last Sunday I wanted to order sushi lunch to go for my kid, but they weren't going to open until 12pm. With the help of Yelp, I discovered K Pop Sushi inside the Zion Market on University Drive. They were open at 11am. I ordered a rainbow roll and a dragon roll. Compared to Crazy Rockin, fish slices were bit smaller but not too bad! Dragon roll tasted almost the same as CR's. Considering the CR's price being about $4-5 more per roll, I loved it! I would order again.

I love the sushi here, it's quite possibly the best sushi I've ever tried. The staff is always friendly and the sushi always tastes very delicious. It's cheaper than some other sushi places I've been to despite recent price increases, would recommend to everyone!

Sushi is good. Very fresh and not expensive. It's a great take out place for a quick pick up on a week night. They have pre-made options right in the display case, just pay and go. However, the ramen was epically bad. They actually used SPAGHETTI noodles!!!!!! And the broth was greasy and flavorless. I didn't even eat it. When I got home I was super disappointed and hungry. I ended up having a power bar and going to bed.

Made the order really quickly. Ordered Hawaiian, California, and spicy Tuna. All were tasty.
