This place is worth a try if you enjoy trying different styles of desserts/Ice cream mix, it is one of those unique flavors of ice cream with a fish shape cream filled (I like Nutella the most) pastry type waffle. I wasn't a fan of the flavors options, but the cookie n cream was the best choice ice cream and some of the flaky toppings choices with it (coconut shaving was yummy, added a crunch to it). Parking is free and price is okay.Vegetarian options: Its available!

SOMI SOMI is the LOML. I love their Ube icecream with the taiyaki custard on top. It's the perfect combination and always my go-to order!

When people are lining up to get in, it's hard to guarantee the quality, when people are going to get tired of working like crazy from all the demand. BUT I must say, I can't complain with what I got. 붕어빵 was fresh, and the 팥 was nice and sweet. This totally made up for that mediocre dim sum a couple stalls down.

Cute and lovely place! They have a photo wall if you like that :) the soft serve has a wide variety of flavors, from original milk to strawberry to matcha. You can also get ah-boong which is a fish-looking pastry which is filled with custard or anything of your choosing! You go up to the counter and put your order in at the computer, and when it's done they call your number. I love all of their flavors, but I'm partial to ube!!

I've been to SomiSomi several times and I love it each time. I usually order the ah-boong, which is the fish-shaped taiyaki placed on a cup of soft serve ice cream. They have several different flavors such as matcha, milk tea, ube, and cookies and cream. They also have three swirl flavors that rotate each week.I ordered the ube soft serve and it was perfect: smooth and creamy, and not too sweet. They have unlimited toppings including cereal bits, crushed oreos, sprinkles, and macarons. Since Halloween is coming up, their macaron pieces are shaped like pumpkins which is super cute.Even if there's a line, service is fairly quick. You order through kiosks located at the entrance, and there are always a lot of workers so your order is ready in no time. There isn't any seating inside, but there are lots of tables and chairs outside the store. Parking is pretty difficult, but if you go during the afternoon it isn't too bad. I'll definitely continue coming here whenever I can!

The fish 'cake' was coated with Nutella on the inside but you're able to decide what kind of filling you'd like inside. They also have toppings you can select from to add onto your ice cream!The best part was that it literally took 1 minute for our order to be ready! We originally want sul & beans bingsoo but the line and wait time was way too long! I'm glad we ended up coming here!The inside is very simple, no chairs but you're able to stand and chat. They have a standing table/bench, since the dessert is pretty quick to make/eat it's more of a 'grab n go' dessert. Definitely will be back.

Creamy, Dreamy Ice-creamy! If you haven't had Somisomi, you're missing out. We came over to this Somisomi, to have a relaxing post-dinner chat and maybe a bit of something sweet. It was a Sunday evening and we had no idea what we were in for. This shopping center is insane. Literally cars and people everywhere, so it makes for a somewhat jarring energy if you're not ready for it. Be prepared and then you can focus on the ice cream that lies in your future.We got cookies and cream with a bit of nutella in the Ah-boong and wow, what a treat. The flavor of the ice cream was perfect, and I did get a tiny bite of the Ah-boong which was pretty delicious. Next time, I'm getting my own and I'll probably get the "milk" which is just like an amazing vanilla with maybe the custard in my ah-boong.Be ready for a wait, but not in the way you think. The actual treats came out lightning fast upon ordering. What took a while was for us to get up to the front kiosks and then to make the darn things work. Our kiosk was so finicky, it kept messing up our order which is only exasperated by the people staring at you from behind you in line!We will be back.

Yum!!! Love this place. Their taiyaki cones are the best and I feel comfortable giving their ice cream to my toddler because it is not overly sweet and made from good ingredients.
