I ordered the sesame chicken and pork chow mein. i loved both of my dish's. It took awhile to get my food but that told me they were actually making me fresh food. So I didn't mind the wait. Very friendly. I will be going back.

Everytime I drive through the Delta, I think of Pineapple Restaurant and if I have enough time to pick up some food. You see, I've only heard about this wonderful place from my cousins. They have always told me to try the Garlic Fried Chicken if I'm ever near Isleton. This was the first time that the stars aligned for the Pineapple Restaurant and Me. I was driving back to Sacramento from a short trip to Antioch. It was about 11:15am when I called in my togo order. They open at 11:30am daily. The girl on the phone was super friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgable because she's worked there for many, many years. Here's what I ordered: Garlic Fried Chicken - Two orders, one for me and one for my cousins. Super crispy with great garlic seasoning, but overcooked. House Special Chow Fun - Two orders, one for me and one for my cousins. Foil Wrapped Chicken - One order for myself. BBQ Pork - One order for myself. I ate this in the car while driving. It was obviously homemade, because it didn't look like BBQ Pork from a Chinese market and the texture was off a bit. It didn't have a lot of marinade, so the taste was lacking and it was dry inside. They serve it with hot mustard, but I didn't try it. I wouldn't order it again, but that's just my opinion. If you are wondering why I didn't describe the rest of the food, it's because my cousin and I both got sick from eating the Garlic Fried Chicken. My order was fried to Death. The pieces were on the smallish side and I determined it was because it was cooked to Death! It was super crispy and had the familiar texture and crunch of some Southern Fried Chicken I've had in the past, so I ate it. Apparently my cousin did too and we both had stomach aches and diarreah! It was horrible!! We knew it had to have been the chicken because that's the only thing my cousin ate that day, while I had that chicken and their BBQ Pork. So, I didn't eat the rest of the items I ordered and threw it out. My cousin called the next day to inform the restuarant. They were neither apologetic or caring and just said thanks for letting us know. IMO....I think they had a feeling the chicken was old and decided to fry it to Death and give it to someone with a togo order. The inside decor was old school Chinese with a mix of modern day....beer signs? I'll post some photos for you. I hope them well, but my experience was Simply Horrible!!!!

Your food isn't as good as the attitude of girl who took my order! Very rude! Don't roll your eyes at me! In case you didn't notice or care about another customer who left also! Bad attitude equals 2 lost sales! I'd give you 0 starts if I could!

I had the General's Chicken and my husband had the Mongolian beef; excellent. Pot stickers were huge with good filling. Waitress had a very personable personality and was very attentive. We were out for a Sunday drive from SF Bay area and stopped here. Definitely worth going up there again just to go to the restaurant.

I am new to Isleton and decided to try our local Chinese Restaurant, Pineapple Restaurant. I ordered 2 dishes to go. I went with a House Fried Rice and Pineapple Chicken. Service was friendly. The restaurant is warm and welcoming. I took my food home and I have to say, it was really great! The rice was full of shrimp, chicken and pork and was flavorful, fluffy and plentiful. I loved the citrusy, tangy, crispy Pineapple chicken. The sauce was gingery and citrusy. I enjoyed both and I look forward to trying more dishes.

Very flavorful and filling Chinese food. Drove down from Elk Grove to taste this food and it was very good. We had the Cashew Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The chow mein was okay but the entrees were the star of the show, which I guess, is truly what matters. The sauce on the cashew chicken was absolutely wonderful and the dish included a wonderful serving of vegetables. The honey walnut shrimp was a bit sweet, but prepared very well, and was presented in a unique way. Highly recommend both dishes. Will stop by again if I'm craving some Chinese food while driving on 160.Parking: Easy access with parking directly on Main Street
