Great food here and biscuits that could win awards! I recommend the corn cilantro pancakes! Oh, and their lattes and mochas are pint sized!

Got one of their gourmet deli sandwiches. The ingredients were tasty, but the way it was put together allowed the bread to immediately get soaked through, so the sandwich fell apart a few minutes after they'd made it. Sloppy and messy -- not the best thing for a to-go item.

I've only tried their turkey, roasted red pepper, arugula, pesto... but it's amazing!!! All of the ingredients are fresh and the turkey is carved to order. The service is also on point. Incredibly kind and offers amazing recommendations like the chipotle mayo *chefs kiss*. Just found my go to spot for sandwiches/lunch.

Old school deli inside a local grocery store, delicious sandwiches. Sat right outside on the curb and devoured the Jersey with a bag of salty potato chips.

Been here twice. Ordered a sandwich the first time, ribs the second time. Sandwich was awesome. Four to five stars. If you like the sandwiches at Picnic or Star Grocery, this is worth a try. Ribs, I am sorry to say, were terrible. Overcooked and dry. This was beyond fall off the bone, the bone itself was falling apart. When I've had rotisserie ribs done well, there's still a bit of chew. More so than smoked ribs but the ribs are juicy and savory.

What a great spot! So, the deal. Kensington Fine Foods is the sandwich spot/deli/butcher found inside a bigger grocery store/market. The grocery portion could use a deep cleaning, but it's that bodega style market. A ton of selection though, especially drinks and snacks. There is a sandwich spot that is operated separately from the grocery portion and that is where this review comes into play. First off, the guy manning the sandwich/deli counter - can we just give him the best customer service award already? Such a good guy. So friendly, offering his suggestions/help and genuinely a happy, friendly person. The sandwiches: really good, especially for the Bay when all you want is a simple deli sandwich. Fresh ingredients, well made, on a good roll. Are they legendary? No. But they are great, moderately priced, meaty guys with again, such great customer service. We went with the Jersey Guys and the veggie option. Both delicious. The veggie one being a tad bit simple (i believe the main veggie was roasted red pepper) for the price, but it was still quite delicious. You can go off menu, or create your own sandwich. Overall, Kensington is adorbs, and this is a great spot to grab a sammy to go while exploring (or if you live nearby). Again, nothing too epic, but if you appreciate a good deli sandwich, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Kensington is a little town in the sky north of of Berkeley where the air is fresh the views are spectacular and you can get a delicious sandwich at Young's Market to satisfy that pang that good air always seems to encourage. A great place to see the Bay Area at it's most dramatic advantage.

The best egg salad on earth lives in the deli here... made fresh daily and so addicting. I could eat tubs of their egg salad in one sitting. Also delicious tuna melt and all kinds of sandwiches. The ribs roasted in house are also delicious. Worth a visit or many many visits for sure!

Very good sandwiches. Since moving over from NYC, I have been wanting to go to a solid deli in Berkeley but they're hard to find. This place has such great sandwiches and super friendly staff!

I've gotten their sandwiches about a half dozen times now since I moved to the area a few months ago. The vegetarian with portobello mushrooms and smoked turkey sandwiches were stellar. Today, I put them to the real test and got...the crab cake sandwich. I feel like there's a lot of ways to screw up seafood on a sandwich, but it was SOLID. Really enjoyed it. The guys are also just super friendly and helpful. So big 5 stars in my book! (Make sure to bring cash for a tip - they prefer cash tips )

Any deli carrying framani products is a winner in my book. Add the fact that they have fresh crab cakes and great customer service and you've got a solid neighborhood go to for a quick lunch bite!

High quality meat and fish, amazing ribs, rotisserie chicken and soups are all great. The sandwiches are absolutely phenomenal! Several of them are all-time favorites.

Ribs are superb. Roast chickens are juicy and flavorful. Larry and the team do a great job.
