Bomb taco shop and close to home. We have been coming here for 7 years. The name just changed, but the owners are the same family. Wonderful folks… Super burrito top notch, adobada mini tacos, hot Cheetos burrito. Enchiladas, pollo quesadilla… and my whole families favorites are all the breakfast burritos! Best spot in La Mesa.

Be aware that there is a surcharge for cards, so pay in cash. Food was as expected for a local taco shop. I had the carne asada burrito and it was decent.

This place is AMAZING!!! The La Mesa location is next-level—the customer service is unmatched! You can tell it’s family-owned because everyone is so genuine. The oldest son was running the register, and he went out of his way to turn on the fans and clean off a table for us right in front of them. He even shared the story behind their restaurant and catering business, which made the experience even more special.

And the food? Absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and top quality! 🙌 Don’t sleep on this spot—it’s THAT good, from the people to the food to the whole vibe.

From the first time to every time, the food has been amazing. Long story short, we tried this place on a whim and have plenty of local Mexican restaurants close to us, but we drive out of the way, even 20-30min with traffic, to eat here!

Family owned, quality and delicious food, it’s hard to beat!

Caldo de Res $13 excellent! Came with roasted dry chilies cilantro onions rice lemons big flour tortilla (big enough to finish soup) good portion size and really good flavor. Good combo of meat/fat, really tasty soup just wish they had a salsa bar I had to ration salsa to finish meal, I received chips & 2 salsas red and green both great flavor, I asked for 2 more for my soup, extra salsas are 25¢ each

Great spot but if you love to drench your food with salsa may want to go elsewhere, overall I would recommend giving them a try.

Special little spot. Staff was on point, and the service was noticeably different compared to other joints. My fried Cameron's plate was well prepared with good portions. I'll be back.

Solid standard burrito joint. No complaints, no issues. This would be a great neighborhood spot.

Hands down one of the best carnitas burritos I’ve ever had. They have this awesome green sauce with avocado, Serrano, and tomatillo that is great with their chips. The guy with the tattoos is super chill.
