A friend took me to the Farmer's Market today. I had a wonderful time. It is in a cute part of La Mesa & parking meters close by. The vendors are very personable & the selection of fruits & vegetables were delightful. The prices were spectacular especially knowing most everything was picked that day. My group and I had a great time meeting all the families that grows the local products. It really sucks that this may be the last month that it is held. The strawberries are the sweetest I've ever had. The white peaches are amazing, I ate 2 as soon as I got home. I inhaled the cherry apple cider that I got. The apricots are the juiciest I've ever experienced. I enjoyed the Indian cuisine the rice, chicken and curry were fantastic. Just an all around great experience!

One of the greater markets due to the availability of parking, the surrounding shops bars and restaurants as well as the vendors at the market. Many different options for produce and hand made goods. Love this spot even though it's far from the ocean
