I eat here often, my favorite lunch spot. Team Members are incredibly nice. Food is exceptional and made to order. Sometimes there is a wait but the meal is worth it! Accommodating to requests, no attitude, and good food...Guests are a hot mess express and leave trash behind. During busy times no one can clean up. Never disgusting, mostly receipts and lemonade juice.They should have adequate A/C as it gets hot back there, especially when it's busy!!

This is 2nd time I eat this with my wife and kids...The first time it was in carson it was very tasty my boys and wife loved it so went to the one in Lakewood and that was not a good discussion paid about $90 for food that was have cooked and half done the bread was not even toasted there was no onions or mushrooms on there if I was eating in i would have sent it back but it was to go. And the fires in a small cup come on people...Going to call corporate office on Monday and have a discussion with them.. and the guy on the cashier touching money and then touching food without putting gloves or washing his hand this is ridiculous....

I just love Charley’s! So happy there is one on the West Coast! Always fresh, hot and made perfectly. Super nice staff. Always seem happy.
If I had to describe Charley's its like a sandwich spot 10x better than Subway. Let's not get it twisted either, these aren't what you would call gourmet sandwiches or anything but it definitely gets the job done in the best way possible. I used to go to their Signal Hill location all the time growing up with my family but unfortunately they closed so I have to commute just a little farther to Lakewood Mall to satisfy my cravings.I don't usually ever go to the mall for a specific meal but for Charley's i'll go through the trouble. The Chicken California is my go-to with a side of bacon cheese fries. It always seems to hit the spot. If you're ever within the Lakewood mall looking for a good bite give Charley's a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Overall, I don't recommend Charleys Cheesesteaks to anyone. It's clear that this restaurant is dedicated to providing the worst possible experience for its customers, and I will never come back again.It was a terrible experience. From the moment I walked in, I saw angry manager who was not happy to help me. The atmosphere was dirty, off-putting, and uncomfortable, making it the worst spot for a meal.

1/13/23 HERE's The Scoop: Their bags say "WE CATER" --I'm wondering who's asking them to cater what!? Their boxes that the Philly goes in say "CRAVE QUENCH" --I'm wondering who is craving this!? Then after I begin to eat my food - I'm wondering why on EARTH didn't you look at the reviews first!!! The girl (Alexandria V Garcia) who took my order needs an attitude adjustment --I ignored it. The (2) guys working on the food need to learn how to season. The meat was so bland - I mean it tasted like nothing! The bread had some Mayo while the other side of the bread had nothing and was DRY. They put their fries in a cup like Five Guys -- I'd have to say the fries were the best tasting thing I had. So that speaks VOLUMES about this establishment. MY ORDER: Chicken Philly, Fries, Sprite. Paid almost 20 dollars - smh and I REGRET it!Didn't take a picture because it wasn't picture worthy! (It's a new year --in 2023 and beyond I'm not wasting my time taking pictures on food that's SUBPAR, NOPE -- just sayin') IN CLOSING: NO I DON'T Recommend and WILL NOT RETURN.

I would give this place a zero star if I could I ordered a California chicken sandwich and when they started to apply the veggies I asked them can I get fresh vegetables which was lettuce and I was told that they ran out or I can take the black tarnished lettuce or get my money back so rude stated by supposedly the manager Arnold no customers service at all just the way he sad it was so rude and to top it off the place was extremely dirty I asked them to clean it up because it wasn't sanitary and they ignored my request so I took a refund which was rudely suggested to many anyway smh I will never go there again.
