Everything about this place is tremendous. By far one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I've been too. Employees were friendly (shoutout to Steven), good music, and obviously the loaded fries and the iconic red bun chicken sandwich were phenomenal. Best lunch spot in the area by a landslide.

Regardless of my menu choice, I've always enjoyed everything I've ordered. Food is always cooked fresh, ordering is simplified with a kiosk, and there's arcade games to play while you wait (if that's your thing). Anytime I'm in lakewood during a meal time, Genkiyaki is always on the roster.Parking: There are several businesses that share a small lot. If you visit during peak hours, be sure to have a backup parking plan.

this is one of my favorite places and i put my mom on to this spot. every time i go, we get this chicken and rice plate and ninja fries. the last 3 times i’ve gone and asked for my plate with NO SAUCE and no veggies, they ALWAYS put the teriyaki sauce. i have my own personal issues with certain sauces and foods. i can’t eat it with the sauce. and so this time i decided to bring it back to because i checked… and then i get my food again and check it again. either they just replaced the rice and washed off the chicken or dabbed off the sauce from the chicken. i’m sorry but that’s super wack:(((.

Really wanted to enjoy this place. Ordered it to go, came home and our ninja wings had absolutely no sauce and the avocado I added to my bowl was black, and we paid an extra $2 for it. Pretty disappointing.
Good service plus they give a lot for what you pay chicken beef combo with vegetables also try their fries too

I've been coming here over the last few years and everything I've tried has been amazing. This is probably my favorite teriyaki place in Lakewood/Long Beach and their tacos, fries, and gyoza are all very flavorful as well. Their sauces are tasty, and I love the different heat levels. My favorite item that I've tried so far is the furious ninja dog. That is the most flavorful thing I've ever put in my mouth. (Pause) Anyway, if you're wanting to try a new place and you haven't been here, stop in immediately. Everything is so good.

Customer service was on point!!! The food, not so much. I think the food is more stoner/young folk food than an actual meal. I ordered the Cheese Fries and tacos and they were mediocre at best. The kamikazi salsa was . It was good but it didn't make up for the food. Great set of guys running tv place, we just need more flavor... thanks

Who was I 8 years ago lol This place is delicious! Came with my boyfriend and ordered the cali burrito, Chicken bowl and d bowl. My boyfriend loved his bowl (the d-bowl) and we loved the cali burrito! The guy who works the front one super nice and friendly too!! Love this place
