Went to Sam's today for my usual chicken sandwich combo (the best around town) and found out this his David's last week! After 31 years, he is going to retire (probably, he says). All of his regular customers have been coming by for their last meal here and saying their good byes. His last day will probably be this Thursday and that may be only a half day. Gonna miss him...
Randee and Craig and Caitee will miss you very much. We have been coming here since you opened up 9 years ago. Good luck in your retirement. Double cheeseburger with lettuce pickle, thousand island on sourdough of course, that and crispy french fries. Don't forget Randees burned fried onions. :)

YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THIS PLACE MEANS TO ME! This place holds a very special place in my heart. There was a moment of pleasure when pulling up and seeing not too many people in line (it could get reaaaaalll busy) . Granted these memories are with the old location , the real spot! Jorge would remember regulars typical orders and always thrown in a fried jalapeno in with the spicy fries..
