We just enjoyed a great meal at La Gema Del Sabor. We just stumbled upon this place and we are so glad we did. Our food was excellent and the portions were generous which we truly appreciate. I highly recommend the pupusas, particularly the birria and the calebasa con queso. My husband ordered the carne asada fries and they were the best we have had. The meat was very flavorful. The service was so friendly and kind. The music playing was beautiful and encouraging. The food will take a while because it is prepared fresh. We didn't mind that at all and we will definitely be back soon.

Honestly reallyy great. Immediate welcome when you walk in and was impressed with the food. I got the torta de asada and it felt like something my mom would make me and and a very nostalgic and delicious taste. Food is decent for av or else I would’ve given lower rating . I wish I could give a 3.5 star its way more accurate . But rounded up. Chicken way to salty - asada fajitas meat was dry - horchata to sweet - I ask for a Torreja to go but needed up trying it at the restaurant ( waitress said it was delicious ) ? it wasn’t . The honey tasted burn and super sweet I didn’t eat eat left it in the table in the to go box . So hard finding good food in the av - the only thing they have good here it’s breakfast and hand made tortillas . That’s why I rounded up or else solid 3 ⭐️
Food is ok. I have tried a variety of food, but after trying so many, I ended up looking somewhere else. Food quality does not match price, and speed does not match quality. For the amount of time it takes them to make, you would think it would come out amazing. In the end, ok place to eat.

Hello my fellow google recipients.I am a food critic when I need to be a food critic. I’m a just and honest reviewer of great and no so great tasting food.I ordered dinner ask the quality was pretty much almost gone bad as in no bueno.And sad to say food gone to waste is unhealthy to eat.I was going to get my dinner replaced but however the host or cashier person didn’t fulfill her obligations to do it.I will never return to this establishment because the food and customer relations wasn’t satisfactory.

Menudo is the best around!! Food is consistently great each time I go here. Add some tacos (I love the tripas tacos here), and you're set!!
