They are super nice and quick here. If you call ahead and order your lumpia they have it ready right as you walk on the door. SUPER sweet ladies in here. I love a place that remembers you and your order!

Awesome food. We had not been in before and were unfamiliar with the foods. The cashier explained each of them and provided a few recommendations to start with. Everything we had was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. The overall experience at the restaurant reminded me of being back home (Pampanga). The only thing missing was the karoake. Very friendly people.

Ordered a combo with dinaguan Was very good. Will go back soon!My husband is picky and he also enjoyed it. Just finished my left overs. I'm looking forward to going back. I'm a pretty good cook but sometimes want to have someone else cook. Mmm dinaguan and the peppers. Reminds me of when we called it chocolate meat in the Women's Sampaguita Circle club from Los Angeles, CA in the 60's

Mila's Kusina is a special place for Filipino food enthusiasts in Lancaster, offering the comforting and authentic flavors of home. As the only Filipino restaurant in town, it's a must-visit for many reasons:Uniqueness: Mila's stands alone in Lancaster for its Filipino offerings, providing homesick Filipinos with the genuine taste of their native cuisine.Karinderia Style Dining: The restaurant adopts the familiar karinderia style, akin to many Filipino eateries in LA. While this approach is convenient and resonates with Filipinos, it may be somewhat new to other Americans who haven't encountered this style as much.Authentic Flavors: The authenticity of Mila's Kusina cannot be overstated. The flavors are genuine, satisfying, and offer a true taste of the Philippines.Room for Growth: While I love Mila's current approach, I also see potential for evolution. The karinderia style is cherished but might benefit from creative presentation enhancements to make it more approachable to a broader audience. I'm not sure exactly how to retain the essence while improving presentation, but I believe someone with creativity could find the perfect balance. Additionally, considerations like renovation or extended hours (they close at 6) could elevate the experience further. In conclusion, Mila's Kusina is a haven for those seeking Filipino culinary delights in Lancaster. The food, ambiance, and cultural authenticity are commendable. With some thoughtful updates, Mila's could not only preserve its authentic karinderia style but also broaden its appeal to others. It's a place that already warms the heart and fills the belly, with the potential to become an even more extraordinary dining destination.

Food is authentic. Taste is home. They have my fave drink sago and sarsi. Their pork bbq, Bicol express and Suman is the best
