Above average food and service most of the time. I personally know the owner who always tries his best to make sure the customers are satisfied.

It was my first time ordering here in Pueblo Viejo, but I was honestly disappointed, the chicharrón was very hard, like it was old, the cassava the same. The truth is that it was my first time and last time ordering there ? I think I'd better stay with the cantorarito restaurant.

This is a nice place, it's mixture of two cultures that share Mayan ancestry. They made a bean and Loroco pupusa for my husband and they didn't even express how weird that was. They made it for him! Their green salad wasn't just lettuce either, it had cucumbers, romaine, sprinkle of spinach and other I asked for dressing on the side. Next time I'll try their Pupusas with rice flour, Ensalada drink is a must try. I can't wait to go back!
Service was great! Nice atmosphere! Food was authentic and sooo good. Thank you!

Please work on getting the pupusas right, they were too doughy and thick the edges had no filling and just looked weird. What happened? The pupusas were so much better!

Omg! The Pupusas, Empanadas, tamales, Fajitas, and Chile relleno were AMAZING!!!! SO delicious. Also the whole atmosphere and decor was lovely. Great service as well. So happy we tried it out. Update...next day eating the leftovers...still SO good. I am so upset that we ate all of the pupusas and tamales already.

I went with my family to get lunch today, they give us the menu without even a greeting, the restaurant wasn’t busy, just like 2 tables with customers, we waited like 15 minutes and no one came to the table to ask if we wanted something to drink or anything. We had to leave and go find another place. It was disappointing because we came for a friend recommendation but never again. Need to improve the customer service, they lost a sell of 5 people because of the poor customer service.

I would probably give zero stars if I could, but the app doesn't allow me to! We went to this restaurant last weekend, and it was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. There was literally only one other family in the restaurant, and the service was super slow. When it came down to the food, they brought the incorrect order and pretty much took another 30 minutes to get me the correct one. The food was tasteless and the enchilada platter was literally cooked in the microwave. I make better enchiladas than they do! All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Stay away!
