Absolutely horrible experience — stay away!
We stopped in just to grab our order to go, not even to dine in, and were treated rudely and discriminated against because of my service animal. Completely unacceptable behavior. There are plenty of other restaurants that deserve my business far more than this one. If you value respect and basic decency, do not go here.

This place discriminated against my service animal and refused service. I kindly said it's not a pet but provides a service to my wife Chumash was vested properly indicating she was a service animal. I then said we can not do business.

I am only writing this review for the customer service. I only took my time to write this because of how the owner handled the situation with my food today. Today 18-Oct-2025 I bought a large menudo. I want to say I did almost finish it but that’s not the case. Almost at the bottom was a thin piece of plastic. I talked to the owner about it and he explains to me where the plastic had come from and that it was from the bag that holds the menudo and that the bag was clean and to not worry because it came from a clean bag. He then hit me with “well since you almost finished it I can give you free tortillas next time you buy the menudo since you almost finished it”. I said to my sled ok I’ll just write this review. It was more the fact that he emphasized that the bag was clean but it was more of the fact that I could have eaten plastic and could have gotten stuck in my belly and gotten sick. Careful AV citizens. Honestly the flavor is super great. I just didn’t like how the situation was handled.

The best menudo and carnitas, I highly recommend here in Lancaster CA. The staff and owner are amazing very friendly and humble.

Had lunch at this location, Friendly people at the door and positive vibes. Great food. Definitely will come back for the carnitas as they look well seasoned to my eyes. Good agua Fresca as well.

After living in the AV for 6 years we decided to try something new since we were heading to the movie theaters. We went off reviews and decided to give it a go.
What we ordered
Asada torta
Asada burrito
1 buche taco
Large lemon/cucumber drink
1/3 pound of carnitas
Chips and salsa
1 water bottle

Location: not to best, but not the worse
Cleanliness: clean inviting atmosphere, on a smaller scale. About 6 tables along with a long counter with chairs. Smelled good inside.
Service: extremely kind, everyone! Cashier, cook and owner went far and beyond with customer service. A ++++++++++ helpful and kind to all walks of life that stepped in, no discrimination which is a plus for us. Asked if it was our first time. Even gave us a sample of their carnitas without me having to ask. I told them the reviews lead me here. But a few people said carnitas were a little to salty. I'm glad he insisted on me trying the sample. It lead me to order $7.00 worth of just carnita meat. It was amazimgggggggg.
Food: asada burrito good and large 9/10. Taco 10/10 fire! Torta asada 10/10 yummy carnita meat 11/10 out of this world. Salsas 7/10. Pico dgallo 10/10, chips 8/10, aqua Fresca 10/10

It's a little hidden but the seasoning of the carne asada is really good. We did; asada fries, asada burrito, and asada sopes.
Would definitely recommend...

Exactly what I needed. two lengua tacos came out extremely fast, and I was able to relieve myself in the restroom. it was a good place to reset before playing an event.

I ate a quesabirria and found it to quite good and also bought some churros they were quite delicious. Little restaurant but big on taste I recomend it.

Great customer service and excellent Mexican food.

Got the handmade asada taco and the portion was so generous. Delicious beef and tortillas were handmade in front of me.

The carne asada was delicious have to come back and try pollo

The food was great, and so were the agua frescas, I will definitely go back
