Worst meal I have ever had. Having travelled the world and cooked some pretty bad meals this is a shock. Reheated shrimp and frozen veggies. The salsa tasted like it was from Walmart. Only reason for 2 stars is I actually ate some food. Never mind the gang in the parking lot No idea how this place stays alive.

Good food, plentiful portion sizes, and pleasant service is the name of the game at Roca del Mar. My order, the garlic shrimp, was quite enjoyable, and I left satiated. I will certainly go back and try some of their other dishes.Parking: Strip mall parking.

The shining star of this restaurant is the staff. They are very friendly and engaging and exceedingly attentive. That being said, the food was just okay. I'm a big carnitas fan and of course that's what I ordered. It was one step above boiled meat. It lacked flavor and composition and the same could be said for the chili Colorado. Two staples of a good Mexican restaurant that were an absolute disappointment. On a more positive note, the other staple I look for in a Mexican restaurant is a good margarita and the strawberry margaritas here were pretty good. I would say this was a great place to go have a drink along with chips, salsa or guac. But definitely not your main course.

Have not been here in a while. This time, I ordered the shrimp with Mojo de Ajo. It was delicious. That means the shrimps were smothered in garlic sauce. They were served over rice and with a small salad. The dish was delicious.We had really good service too. The waiters were very attentive and willing to help. I highly recommend this place.In the past, I have ordered the Chile Verde Birrito, which is really good, too.They have a lot of options for everyone.

Wow! Just enjoyed a delicious meal at Roca del Mar. The food was amazing. Great flavor, well cooked, beautifully presented, and high quality. The staff was incredible, friendly, and attentive. Officially my new favorite restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu. They also have proper seating for kids (booster seats and chairs).

It was actually pretty good, the camarones al Mojo de ajo was on point, the coctel was good but I wish they would use bigger shrimp, salsa and chips bomb too. (tortilla soup, no bueno)

This seems to be a solid Mexican joint with incredibly loud music. I don’t believe anything is homemade. ie the tortillas. I have only tried a few dishes here. the last time I had shrimp enchiladas, which were very good and very salty. Wish the fish tacos were Baja style instead of with tomato and lettuce. I can’t abide tomato and lettuce on a fish taco. No gracias.
