I have never eaten their food. I wanted to because I heard the food was good. When I went there to eat, they said they weren't cooking right now. So why would I go back if when the place is empty and you don't want to take any customers. Good luck

My sister and I stopped by here after spending some time on the Blvd and I was super excited to try it because I loved the way everything sounded but for me I'll have to give it a pass and my sister would as well. We didn't like the flavor of the mac n cheese. I'm not going to lie but it tasted old or that it's been sitting in something plastic for a while. I had so much hope. I didn't think the greens were that bad. They did have a sweet factor to it that I kinda liked but I balanced it out with the hot sauce that was provided. My sister stated that she loved the chicken that came with her chicken and waffles but her waffle she wished was more crispy because it was very soft. But I will say the beans and rice was pretty good. The lady was nice when we walked in but it took a minute to get any service. When we walked in no one was around it felt like a ghost town until a lady popped out from the corner lol. Overall I will not be going here again but I welcome everyone to try it for themselves it was just a miss for me.

Many people never notice this little jewel of a restaraunt, but once you step inside and taste their food, you will be coming back for more. The ladies who own the Elm cook from scratch. No frozen, pre-packaged anything. Mac and cheese is awesome, waffles are soooo good. No need for syrup. Fried chicken is so well and seasoned crisp. I hope you will try this place soon, you will definately be glad.

Great food and great service. Loved chatting with the employees and all 3 of us loved the 3 different dishes we ordered. I recommend the Mac and cheese as well as the chicken sandwich! I heard the waffle was amazing but didn't try one myself. The owner stayed late so we could finish eating. We will definitely be back.
This is the one soul food restaurant that has been very consistent. I have eaten here more than four times via delivery and I have never been disappointed. The beans & rice are flavorful and thick. The chicken is well seasoned with a crispy crust. The cornbread is sweet like I make at home. The yams are spot on sweet/ cinnamon/ butter you taste it all. The kids love the waffle & syrup. Absolutely taste like a home cooked meal.

All right this is a great little spot! Hidden off of Lancaster boulevard and you may not notice this little restaurant, but do yourself a favor and go here.We had a waitress named Nicole who was amazing. She was attentive and informative. And she laughed at all of our jokes. She reminded us that this place is a scratch kitchen and that everything is cooked to order. And believe me it tasted like it. It was really good. Fresh fried chicken, creamy macaroni and cheese. And collard greens that weren't super salty.Plenty of TVs for watching sports and a nice bar that was fully stocked. Definitely want to come back to this place or even come by just to watch a football game or two.
