What an amazing place! My tea was the best. I asked for the creamiest option and they recommended the horchata tea. I am in love with salt cream but it's not on the menu, so they made it for me! It was the best salt cream I've ever had. It was still a little sweet (which is the difference) but then the salt hits the tongue, wow! The absolute best and I go to a lot of places with salt cream. I can't say enough good things about this place and THE PEOPLE. So accommodating. I live 70 miles away and it's totally worth the drive. I'll definitely be back.

The lunch menu is great and I find myself getting it weekly. The only thing I would say is that sometimes it takes a bit to order im not sure if it’s a staffing issue or because of how busy the restaurant is.

I love this place so much, the food & drinks are fantastic. They recently redecorated too & I love how it looks. This spot is my go to on my days off my go toos are the vegan biscuits & gravy, walnut burrito, baby matcha & vanilla moon & dirty chai latte.

We came to experience this place during the fall event but we're unsuccessful because they didn't organize the event properly. Basically if you didn't come exactly when they opened you weren't going to sit and eat. Poor hostess girl had no idea how much longer the wait was going to be she said 45 too an hour additionally to the long wait of 45 we already waited. If you are outside forget it they weren't checking up on you. If the owner was there we never saw them at all. The kitchen apparently was backed up because people were reordering food after already eating and if we ordered to go it was going to be 40+ mins. We definitely left hangry. This place needs better management.

My husband and I ate here multiple times for breakfast. There was one point where we came almost every weekend in a span of two months lol. I love that they have a variety of healthy choices, great drinks, and amazing staff. I just wish they had a bigger space! I would love to see them expand as it is a bit of a tight fit since business is boomin! :)

You will absolutely love the modern tea room!!! Very healthy and interesting food. Everything tastes amazing and you will not feel guilty about any of your choices!!! I take family and friends here all the time. One of our only safe havens for quality and healthy food!!! Trying their many varieties of unique teas!!! You will love them!!!Vegetarian options: My favorite is the avo avo sandwich.Parking: Tons of street parking all around. Walk a little bit but enjoy the Boulevard!!!Kid-friendliness: Yes they are very accommodating with outdoor and indoor dining. Kids will feel right at home!!!

I used to like Panera sandwiches, but after having MTR's sandwich it can't compare to the delicious sandwiches at Modern Tea Room. The variety of teas both hot and cold is awesome, there are so many different kinds.Vegetarian options: A variety of options and they are all good.Kid-friendliness: Such a nice ,family , friendly atmosphere and the staff is great.

My husband and I went here for the first time today. The service was great, staff nice, atmosphere pleasant and prices fair. I ordered the vegan cheesesteak and it was delightful, husband ordered turkey and cheese and he was not thrilled with the taste. He actually split my cheesesteak with me because he said his sandwich wasn’t tasty. We both enjoyed our teas. I will definitely return, I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the service. It would be nice to have fries (sweet potato or otherwise), or other sides to choose from other than ruffles chips. That option should be upgraded because no one going to this restaurant to experience the food and ambiance wants ruffles potato chips. I definitely recommend to try this place out. The next door restaurant is combined and although we didn’t eat there the lady up front was so warm and inviting we will definitely be back. Yes I would recommend. If they can get a liquor license to add to the teas this would enhance the experience even more.

Favorite tea spot in the AV, especially for hot tea. Great food too, with breakfast and lunch choices and plenty of vegetarian and meat-based options. Acai bowl and egg salad sandwich both stand out as favorites. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Just don't come in a hurry. Tea takes time. Sit back, relax, and let this place give your soul a little detox.
