Mrs Y and I have been meaning to try this cafe for some time, and we finally made it! They offer sandwiches and bakery items, sodas, coffee, and I think beers were available. There are tables indoors and out. You'll order from the counter and they'll bring your order to the table. Our tuna sandwich and Cobb salad were tasty.

I ended up here an accident for a date lol I looked up coffee shops and came here, unaware that it was in an assisted living type place. The coffee was good and came out quickly, but my coffee was room temperature and all the syrup was on the bottom. Not a huge deal though and it ended up being a nice quiet place for the date... Hopefully she doesn't judge me too harshly for that surprise ?

Kilaga is another open to the public hidden gem on SCLH. Most residents down here are polite but some think the cafe is their private space and don't want anyone to hang around for to long.

Great lunch cafe when open. Has been closed due to Covid 19. Great egg salad and tuna sandwich plates.

I love the Kilaga Springs Cafe! Friendly staff that greets me by name. Great Chai Tea Lattes. The new manager recently added an omelet bar 6am-10am on Saturdays! Nice place to get breakfast when attending Lavender Friends Club Coffee & Conversation Saturday mornings. Also, during the warmer weather, it is so nice to sit outside and listen to the babbling brook that meanders through the patio. Beautiful ambience!!!

If you are looking for a quaint setting to have a sandwich or to share a cup of $1 coffee, Kilaga Springs Cafe is you destination. Treat yourself and eat outside and enjoy the running spring water sooth you. You can also partake of a glass of wine or bottled beer. Cold ice cream tops off your visit.
