The food was good but simple. About $12 for just a sandwhich no drink or chips. Noisy due to being close to the highschool. Very overrun with highschool kids after 2pm and they are loud and not considerate to other people.

My new favorite coffee place! I have patroned at least half a dozen times since I first received a gift card for my birthday. The gc ran out, but I keep going back. I have only gotten the iced or hot lattes, but others whom I have bought for have loved their flavored lattes! The food is yummy and delicious, too. It is a nice little quiet gem. This time we dined in and there was a steady stream of customers coming in, mostly to go orders. A&J offers both online and app orders where you can earn reward points, or you can order in person, too. I love the app ordering; it saves me time when picking up. The staff have all been very friendly, personable, and patient when mulling over the menu as well as offering suggestions.

Very cute local spot with great food. Tried the Hot Panini and the Ham & Turkey sandwich - the bread and meats were very fresh and high quality. Will definitely be coming back to try breakfast burrito and bagel sandwich

I've visited this café a handful of times now. I've always enjoyed my time there. The staff is very welcoming, the location is very calm and cozy, and the food is great. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos.

Coffee was good, however the older lady behind the counter was rude. couldn't bother with a hello or greeting. Of course until I opened the door for fresh air when she begin yelling at her co-worker and me to shut the door....KAREN energy all throughout this cafe guest included....maybe next time I won't be a person of color so I can be treated right

Honestly, I had no idea this place existed and I've lived/frequent this area since forever! It's in a awkwardly shaped strip mall and the parking spaces can be a bit tight. My friend and I came here looking for some local coffee. I got an iced black coffee and my friend got an iced americano with a poppy seed egg bagel sandwich. I tried a bite of the sandwich and we both though it was very average. My coffee was okay! I did however like the friendly service from the two girls working behind the counter as well as the seating space. They have board games there as well so it isn't like your typical coffee shop. Not a bad choice!

I found this little cafe on accident today. I am glad I did. The people are super friendly, the lemon pepper avocado toast was delicious, and the decor inside has a really cool and homey feel to it. I will definitely be returning to try the sandwiches and drinks.

I really wanted to like this cafe, but I'm sad to say that I had one of the worst cups of coffee I've ever had! I wasn't sure what to get and the young lady behind the counter (great personality, I have no complaints about the service) recommended the Vanilla Latte, so that's what I got. It tasted like bad work staff meeting coffee with cheap vanilla flavored coffee creamer poured in. I got hot, my wife got iced and both were equally bad. Maybe their food is better and that's why they have a high rating. Staff and overall look kept me from giving less than 3 stars.

We weren't that hungry so we got BLT sándwiches. Oh my, simple, but oh so good. Ice cream was good also. What makes this place is the atmosphere and the friendly staff. You should come by its worth it.

Wonderfully surprised by this charmingly quaint yet capable coffee shop/cafe in East Long Beach. I ordered avocado toast with tomato and lemon pepper, with a Chai latte, both perfect and made fresh for me. Visited at 10 AM on a Saturday morning, only one other customer was there with me... would love to make this place a regular drop in spot for locals to support! Lots of options for espresso, coffee, and coffee drinks and smoothies, breakfast food options... plan to try again for breakfast and lunch. Recommend highly.
