CaliChilli - unauthentic Indian Restaurant

Delicious. Cauliflower bites to begin and the eggplant lasagna were amazing. Husband's lamb shank was yummy too.

Really good food and service. We had the chicken wings, quesadilla, lamb vindaloo, and Kerala fish. The garlic naans are the best I have ever had. Mango rose lassi was superb.

The food is phenomenal, but the service is horrendous. We had a reservation and they were prioritizing walk-ins. They offered the bar until we could get our table, which was 20 minutes later. We sat at the bar and it wasn't busy, but the bartender didn't even look at us until 10 minutes after sitting down. We didn't even get to order a drink there. Once we were seated at our table, then they took our order and 10 minutes later she came back with our drinks. They weren't even handcrafted drinks. The food came out fast. Our food actually came out BEFORE our drinks. I got the paneer pot pie, it's not a true pot pie. They just have filo dough over a pot. Pani puri was good and so was the short rib. I would eat here again, but for take out. Not worth the restaurant experience.

This was my second visit to Cali Chili and it felt like the warmth of Thanksgiving Day. The kind where the food is made with love, the air feels full of comfort, and you're surrounded by a sense of peace and joy. The dishes were rich in flavor and clearly prepared with care. The vegetarian options were fulfilling and fresh, and the mocktails added the perfect touch. But more than the food, it was the atmosphere that stayed with me. The staff was kind and attentive, and every part of the experience felt genuine. I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in a long time. Cali Chili reminded me what it feels like to be fed in every way. I left full, grateful, and already planning my next visit.

I always enjoy this place. The manager is welcoming and enthusiastic. But the service staff is weak and slow. The food is excellent!

The food is amazing. The service lacks. Our food came out at different times, we had to ask for the rice and naan to be brought. If they can get the service improved I would give it 5 stars.

Incredible Indian cuisine! Just had the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and beef Rendang. Both were absolutely delightful! The service was a tad slow, but the staff was incredibly kind.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t post/take too many pics of the food because there are already plenty in other reviews, and also because I forgot to because I was too busy scarfing down the delicious food. Took the wife for lunch on a Thursday. Made a reservation, probably not necessary, but just in case. Long story short, we’re making this a go to when we’re in the mood for “Indian” food. We had the cauliflower fritters, Lamb Vindaloo and the Truffle Chicken Tikka. The surprise dish was the truffle chicken, it was perfectly cooked, the inside was still tender and moist. Another great surprise were the cocktails, I had a Mississippi Masala (yum) and two drinks I asked the bartender to make up, did not disappoint. Had a great time, and like I said we’ll definitely come back.
