What a surprise!! My son found this little place and bragged about how much he enjoyed it so I was super excited to try it out. I loved it!! We hit it at the right time. Tables were full, but no wait. Soon after there were at least 4 to 5 parties waiting for a table. I love the Shenandoahs in Los Alamitos but this is not the same except that the food is good. LOVED IT!! My boyfriend and I went for the first time tonight. We went towards the end of the night. We stumbled upon it on accident during a night walk. I was immediately attracted to the smell of the food. As we crossed the street we saw more of the area. Beautiful night lights, cute and cozy setting, and immediately greeted by friendly staff. Love this neighborhood spot that always makes you feel like home! It has become our Friday night take out/date night. The food is prime quality so it's in the name. Highly recommend the swordfish with the seasonal salad and the hearts of palm ceviche to start. The menu offerings are unique and shift with the seasons. We are hoping that this gem isn't closed for good because it's a Long Beach staple.
