Me and the fiancé went here for a bite after coming out to the area. Came to Hortencias and had a delicious lobster taco and one of, if not the best california burritos I’ve ever had.Highly recommend to try this if you’ve never been. A small little restaurant with solid prices and flavorful food!

Kimberly always takes great care of us when we cone in. My wife and I love the fajitas trio. Chicken, steak, and shrimp. Love the portions and we never leave hungryChips and salsa are also good. Washed everything down with some tasty iced tea.

Cozy. Quaint, friendly and overall great. Nothing is a miss when it comes to the food. Beans and rice are awesome. Everything is flavorful. Chips n salsa are on par. Not spicy at all just has so much flavor. Staff is great and easy going. I went there for the first time of months of passing it by on accident but was always wanting to try it out. Finally did! Super enjoyable.

This is one of our go-to places for breakfast/brunch.You really cannot go wrong if you know what to order! In the beginning I tend to over-order. LOL. I know, it's bad but I like having lefovers anyway so cool beans - no pun intended!Last visit, I had 2 x street tacos and a plate of beans as a side. It was actually too much for me. One taco would have been perfect. But it was really good. I had one steak and one carnitas. Good flavor loaded with meat, cilantro, onions, green salsa.Side of refried beans comes with lettuce and tomato, perfect with my tacos. They do service chips and salsa too, but be careful not to get too full...as I often do.Service is fairly fast and always friendly. they have a big screen and usually streams a game for you sports fanatics.Parking lot has limited space but there is street parking.Enjoy!

We've gotten takeout here several times and it always exceeds my expectations. (Minor exception that their chilaquiles, while good, don't touch my favorite chilaquiles ever .... But that's another story about another restaurant.) Their chips!!! Best corn tortilla chips of any place around-- thin and light and crispy, every one. Copious portions, well packaged for to-go, and super reasonable prices at a time when prices are shooting up everywhere else. I'm usually a big picture taker but I don't have any photos from Hortencias, we always dive into it ravenously, it's too irresistible to remember to snap pix. We've gotten different dishes each time and haven't settled on a favorite entree yet... will keep coming until we do! Thank you Ms. Hortencia!

Local spot for us. I like everthing they cook. Family business who do a great job of service. I enjoy the steak tostada in the big shell. The meat is really flavorful. Tacos and the chili relleno are super good too. Give them a try.
