In my never-ending quest to find the best fried zucchini in Orange County, I took my daughter here for lunch when she only had school for a half day. I got the double cheeseburger and it was good. The fried zucchini had the crispiest crunchiest outside of any that I've ever had and it was also good (this is the first time that my daughter actually enjoyed any zucchini that I've had.) she got chili cheese fries and a strawberry banana shake, both of which were really good. The chili on their chili cheese fries is really good chili, which I don't find a lot in fast food joints. We were fortunate to beat the lunch crowd by a few minutes, and the young lady who helped us was very hospitable. It's primarily a takeout spot, but they had quite a few tables on a covered patio where we enjoyed our lunch.

Basic old school style hamburger and fries when you got that craving. Nothing too special but worth the visit. I like that they don't over cook your fries. They are just right

Standard old fashion burger joint. You'll get better food here than corporate fast food. Outdoor seating. Burger and fries were good/good portions.

Best local Burger spot. Volcano Burger never disappoints. They do what they do very well.

We arrived after 1 on a Monday afternoon. There was plenty of parking and a few people ahead of us. They had plenty of other options besides burgers but we tried these first. I'm a fan of avocado on my burger which is what i ordered. Delicious burger and crispy fries. We also tried a large vanilla milkshake with what tasted like chocolate in it too. Everything made me full and satisfied my cravings so I would love to try other things on the menu.

I’ve been here a few times.. I’ve had their chicken sandwich, chicken quesadillas & burgers w/fries.. haven’t had any complaints so far. Food has been tasty & fresh, w/ a very friendly staff ?

This has been one of my go-to spots for bacon cheese burgers, fried zucchini, onion rings, and thick cut fries for over 20 years. The ranch is super delicious! Unfortunately, portion sizes have shrunk very noticeably, and the prices have gone up significantly. I used to go every couple months with friends, co-workers, and family; now it's a once or twice a year stop at most.

So maybe there was an error bc, yes, we of course went back. We always go back, bc Volcano Burger is our go-to place! And I saw that the grilled chicken salad was $14.99. So maybe I got over charged for the chicken?

The first time we ate there it was fantastic. So we went back on a weekday just before all the students got out for lunch. That time it was horrible. It was like the burgers and fries had been cooked earlier and now had been microwaved. Insanely over heated. Impossible to touch. Tough bread. Fries awful. We will never go back there.

Great customer service. Food could be better. I ordered the Volcano burger and I thought by the name it would be spicy. But I was disappointed. The fries are better else where. My 2. Year old daughter normally loves fries but for some reason she wasn't liking the fries from here. May try this place again and upgrade my review but for now. I was disappointed by the food here. But giving them a chance because of the customer service.

The line is normally long but the staff is quick. This is the best burger place of its kind in our area. We live in Lakewood and drive to Los Al to grab a bacon cheeseburger and fries. They season everything very well. You gotta try their fried zucchini and ranch, volcano burger has the best zucchini. I've never ate here I've always gotten it Togo I really don't even know if they have seating. I know they have a drive through and a walk up window. They take cash and welcome tips, I tip when I have cash they deserve it. I can compare the employees to in and out employees fast and polite.

Best drive-thru burger joint in the Los Alamitos/East Long Beach area. I always get a bacon cheeseburger but there are plenty of great options. The fried zucchini here is killer as well. Only drawback is parking can be difficult sometimes.

Love supporting this family owned business. When my family is in the mood for burgers, burritos, and Greek salad, we can all get our favorites. Their onion rings are the best in the area and the fried zucchini is also great. Service is always friendly even when super busy!

I can’t understand why this place has so many stars and great reviews. I believe it’s similar concept to In N Outs take on a burger. In N Outs burgers taste like quality meat. This tastes less than mediocre. I had high hopes and standards for this place unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype.
