Not what I thought it was going to be. The cupcakes are dense. A little on the dry side. The chocolate frosting was too intense for my liking, but the vanilla frosting was very good. The chocolate cupcake had the best flavor of the few I tried.
I like the aesthetic of the shop and the employees were very nice. I was just surprised that the cupcakes weren't light and fluffy. I like that they weren't overly sweet, but the texture was disappointing.

Everything we tried was amazing. The lemon coffee cake is the best dessert we tried and in close second is the lemon thyme cookie. The matcha was great (good color), comes unsweetened which is perfect, and the coffee is really good. Very surprised that these are gluten free, it tastes amazing.

I decided to try this place for my fiancé’s birthday after reading so many great reviews. I ordered six cupcakes, but only one, the red velvet, tasted somewhat normal. Thankfully, that’s the one he chose.
The “birthday cake” chocolate cupcake icing tasted overwhelmingly salty, as if someone forgot to add the sugar altogether. The vanilla cupcake had a fly in it and the icing on the rest of the cupcakes just tasted like plain butter. All of the sponges were on the dry side and didn’t live up to the hype in the reviews.
I’m giving two stars because the cupcakes were nicely presented and the person at the counter was friendly and attentive.

The cupcakes are everything amazingly delicious. The frosting is quite light a tasty, it’s not overpowering the cupcake but compliments each other. ALL the employees as well are all friendly and quick to help. I highly recommend.

Sweet Diplomacy is my absolute favorite bakery in the Bay Area! Their vegan cupcakes are simply amazing — moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. The bakery has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and kind. Every visit feels like a treat, and I always leave with a smile (and a box of cupcakes!). If you love high-quality, plant-based desserts, Sweet Diplomacy is a must-visit!

I ordered the paleo brownies and they were great i heard, but i didn't even order enough for the whole group. Looks like i can't get it delivered to the east coast anymore, though, and i was planning a birthday treat. Let me know if you bring that back. I have gluten-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free vegan guests. Or else the nationwide shipping is just for the boxes.

A little expensive but pretty tasty! The real charm at this location is its wonderful employees. Especially Nichols McCulloh who is nothing but sunshine!
Beware! I ordered online, somehow the shipping and billing addresses got combined, and no confirmation was sent until the package was out. After number emails and attempted calls all I got was there was nothing could be done. So sadly, the package is not going to my daughter for her birthday as she lives halfway across the country. It’s up to me now to pay UPS and see if I can salvage my package for their mistake. Nonetheless none of it is going anywhere near my daughter who was the intended recipient.

Small coffee shop. Sells vegan and Gluten free coffee and treats! Right across the Safeway here. Everything is delicious. I would highly reccomend the Dever cupcake for any sweet tooths out there. And if u love your vailla, you will love it more. The cake is very moist and delicious. Its not at all overpowering with vanilla cake and frosting. 😋🫰🫰
