Delicious dinner of chicken in a mild and flavorful red mole sauce, with beans, rice, salad and tortillas for about $12.95. GIGANTIC menu of Mexican and El Salvadoran dishes, including breakfast selections and albondigas (meatballs) in soup or in sauce (my preference). Excellent value in all regards. Wooden Booths could use a cushion. You order from the counter and the food is delivered to your table after a short time. This is not a fast food type of place. It takes forever. Like 20 mins. So Call ahead for take out. The crazy pupusa was not bad at all cheese and chicharon. No lines. Quiet. Very much hole in the wall mom pop kinda joint. You basically come here for the food. Nothing else.

I went here a couple of times when in Highland Park for breakfast and enjoyed the papusas - good quick service, reasonable price, nice flavours, especially the loroco and chicharron, served with curtido and salsa. Great spot for a quick small bite to eat.
