I’ve enjoyed Diddy Riese cookies since I was a child and I’m in my fifties now. I live in Northern California but whenever I come back to LA I made a vow to visit and purchase these delicious cookies. It’s a tradition for me and my family. It’s a part of my life’s story. I appreciate Diddy Riese for their affordable prices and quality desserts that they have consistently delivered for over 35 years.

They have a $5 minimum credit/debit card policy. I haven’t been carrying cash for years, and majority of their options are under $5. They told me I can buy a cookie to make it $5, but I don’t want a cookie, neither I do want to buy a triple ice cream option above $5. Had to walk out without buying anything I genuinely wanted. A policy like this is equivalent to a refusal of service to a customer who is unwilling to buy more than he/she wants. Very disappointed in their policy, I don’t think any other decent place would make a policy like this.

Ordered what they are known for, the ice cream sandwich. Got mint chip ice cream between a chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate cookie. Ice cream was standard and cookies were average with that being said though, the cookies are only 75 cents a cookie and brownies a dollar so it’s decent for what you pay. It’s a fun snack that is priced really well compared to what you would pay at other places. There is a $5 minimum for cards. They also have shaved ice but I would come for the cookies brownies or ice cream.

Hi Steve, I've been sick for 13 years, I am at a point where I am now verbal!Animals are not allowed in public places.I don't know why you feel the need to voice the rules of animals not being allowed in a public place.After informing you that my furries are service animals, your response was 'okay, sure!' And walked behind the counter. Today and probably no more will I come to Diddy Reese for anything.

Diddy Riese is a LA staple.. Cookies are fresh and delicious. They also have yummy brownies as well. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Their ice cream sandwiches are scrumptious. Would recommend over any of the many trendy cookie shops that’s in the LA area.
