We went on a weekday midday for lunch w a reservation. We were seated right away and the service was top notch. The food was also great and the view, the space were all great. But the mark up on the bottled beer was a bit out of the ordinary ($15 for a bottle of beer!!).

I hadn't been to the restaurant in a number of years. I kind of forgot about it but once there I remembered how very delicious all of the food is. It's very very good service is lovely and so is the setting. I was disappointed that they don't validate your car parking because of the two people come separately they're each gonna pay an additional $25 after having a meal there and I think it should be included when you go to that restaurant with a reservation. Thank you.

I rated the restaurant at the Getty Center a little less than outstanding because the restaurant knew it was my birthday, and wished me so, but offered nothing whatsoever, not even a cookie. That's unusual for any restaurant, let alone one that is high-priced like this one.

A worthy compliment to this particular art at the Getty center. the food was excellent, although pricey, the view was spectacular, the service was a bit slow.

Nice food, but for the price, could be elevated a bit. Great service and a spectacular location, of course!

The steak salad was delicious. It was far better than I had been led to believe it would be from reading reviews. It was really wonderful with a large helping of flavorful thinly sliced steak and a variety of grilled vegetables and greens as well as some really interesting thin fried onion rings. The chocolate dessert was unreal. It was covered with a crunchy chocolate shell and smooth chocolate and flavorful caramelized cream layer inside, and chocolate crumbs as a base. It was all outstanding. The weather was rainy but the view of the much-welcomed rain falling was very pleasant. Later the sky cleared enough that the entire City of Los Angeles was visible from the Getty outside terraces.

The Restaurant at the Getty was good. The service was excellent - they were prompt and very professional. The Ahi tuna on avocado was delicious. Quite fresh and tasty. However, the lemon Fettuccine was just OK. It didn't have any thing but peppery sauce to go with it. No tomatoes or vegetables of any kind. If it wasn't for the peppers it was quite bland and the noodles thick and overcooked. And my friend couldn't eat the peppers so it was even more bland for her. They offered shrimp to go with it, but it really needed something else. The two desserts we got were OK - the chocolate cake was pretty sweet and the candy shell crust was good. The strawberry cube was weird. It has sesame seeds in the shell to look like a strawberry! It wasn't very tasty. But it was a pleasant place, nice view and relatively quiet.

we were quickly seated at a lovely table and read the short menu. the vegetarian choices were extremely limited (the impossible burger priced at the same $42 as the wagyu burger). fortunately for me, i 'prefer' to eat vegetarian but am not always strict. i asked the waiter whether the 'jidori chicken' was a half chicken or....? he said "somewhere between a half and a quarter" and described it as a leg and thigh with a little bone sticking out. i guess a leg and thigh plus a little bone is morethan a quarter? i asked if it was worth a cheat as i'm a most-of-the-time vegetarian. he said absolutely. the rolls are served and they have no crispy crusts, like they've been in a steamer. i'm still eating my soup -- literally spoon in hand -- when the runner delivers the chicken and takes away my bowl, which i had him put back down. finished the soup and now there's not enough room on the table to get to the chicken. fortunately, the table next to us hadn't been bussed since before we sat down so i simply put it on that table. the chicken was dry and not worth a cheat and as i was wondering *why* it was so dry, i finally took a good look and realized it was a breast. (an airplane breast, which is why it has a bone sticking up.) not a thigh. not a leg. i think white meat is always dry and would never ever order that as my cheat. no one checked on how the food was (spouse's was... fine) until the plates were being cleared. with most of my chicken untouched. to waiter's credit he offered instantly to remove the charge and to get me a salad (don't know how, cause i went with the chicken partly because the vegetarian salad was unavailable) which i declined. we skipped dessert. the price to quality/price to service ratio is way way way out of line. the good thing is that we will forever giggle about a waiter at a high end restaurant who cannot distinguish between a breast and a quarter chicken leg.

I have been coming at the Getty centre for over 25 years and it is always a pleasure. The food at the restaurant is fantastic, a small celebration on a plate 😊

Great food, wonderful service in a very pleasant dining room with expansive views and civilized diners. No rowdy children or tables of loud obnoxious people.

we went for brunch. Wasn't impressed with the food quality and flavor. however, service is five star.

This venue consistently delivers its well deserved excellence in food, ambiance (killer view) and service.

Love this place. All the quality and great family vibes of Nicolas Eatery in Malibu now in Woodland Hills!

This continues to be a consistent and predictable place to dine. The prices are a bit on the high side, but recognizing the logistical and other complications of functioning in this location (and that admission to the museum continues to be without charge), the "value proposition" seems quite in place. The view is marvelous, and the tranquility (inside the restaurant or provided by the pleasant gaze) is highly-valued. The meals are sufficiently prepared and well-served by an efficient and enthusiastic staff. The dining (and restroom facilities) are extremely clean in appearance. Kudos for that! Our server, Arwen, was professional, attentive, and clearly well-experienced and knowledgeable regarding her profession Brava! In many ways, she ensured that a "good experience" became a "great one," in the eyes of the guests. DO make an Open Table reservation! There were times during our visit when every table was full, and though the dining room is spacious, it has a large number of tables (all of them lovely and well-set, though we always request one by a window with a water view).
