I paid exactly $100 for a 5 cheese board and a 5 meat board advertised each was for 2 people to eat off of. I paid $5 extra for olives that were not on the cheese board and $5 extra for cornichons on the meat board. There exactly 10 pieces of cornichon on the plate. These plates are advertised for 2 people to be able to eat off each board, and honestly should not be advertised as such. I pack of crackers or bread for 2 people to share as well.I waited over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. Someone was called to bag up the boards. Not even a thank you.

Stopped here to get Italian sodas, sparkling water, cheese, baguette and some jams before a picnic on a boat! The staff was helpful and the cheese that was recommended was delicious!! The only thing I didn’t love was being asked to tip at checkout for just picking up cheese, as it was already on the pricier end

This place is so lovely!!Perfect for a romantic date or a group outing! The back patio is adorable with twinkle lights and a cozy feel. The owners are great and everyone working is always so helpful. The variety of cheese & wine is wonderful. We even rented the space one night for a private holiday event and it was amazing.

Kyle goes above and beyond to show care for customers. We love raclette night on Saturday, and the merguez sandwich is incredible.

A truly unpleasant experience especially concerning the lady who I presume runs the place. Ordered a 5 meat/cheese platter and made the unfortunate discovery that not a single item of our platter was our choice outside of the ratio of cheese to meats. We asked if at all possible we could get some brie thrown in and was promptly shut down even at the offer to pay extra. Instead she repeatedly asked us about food allergies to which we responded having none. Around the 4th time of repetitive questioning I audibly sighed and said fine my dad is allergic to seafood and shellfish especially. She scoffed at us putting on a smug expression as if we were idiots for answering her own question and said that there was no way she'd put seafood on a cheese/meat platter. Sorry for answering the question you wouldn't stop asking you crone. Of course 15 minutes later when we return to pick up the platter there isn't any brie because clearly part of the 30$ I'm paying for when I get a cheese/meat platter is for some pretentious lady to tell me what I should want to eat. I do enjoy playing a slot machine with my food. It irked me further because I know they put no brie there specifically because it was the one item in the 5 item platter I specifically requested. I'm sure of it because we still ended up paying 8$ more for an eyeballed "pound" of brie that smelled awful and tasted worse than it smelled. I'm not new to eating cheese I'm aware of its occasional smell factor. I've also had ample brie in my life and what I ate today was by far the worst brie I have ever had. To conclude the only thing I'm thankful for from this truly atrocious experience is that I will never have to spend another dollar as this will be my first and last time purchasing anything from this establishment.

A beautiful restaurant with great service, a solid wine selection, and amazing food. The raclette is a must have, but only available a couple of nights a week. I liked this place when it was the Wheel House but the new owners have taken it to a new level with major upgrades to the patio. It's one of the best patios in LA, and while I'm tempted to keep that secret I also want Kustaa to be around for a long time.

We had a lovely time at Kustaa last night. The patio is just lovely, and even with pouring rain, we were kept dry by their layered tenting. It was quite cozy.Even though it's not technically a restaurant, you want for nothing while "dining" there. They have a lot of international wine, so if you're like me and mostly familiar with Napa wine, ask for help. The owner (whose name I can't remember) pointed us in the right direction after hearing what kinds of wine we like. After you pay for the wine and food, they bring everything to the patio where you're sitting, open the wine, and if it's white, put it on ice.We ordered a 5 cheese/meat board and were in love with the cheeses and meat chosen by the cheesemonger. We also ordered the Prosciutto & Seasonal Fruit Salad, which was delicious! The prosciutto was the best I've ever had. The Olive and Sun-Dried Tomato Tapenade was also fun, though I think they could serve more bread with that (as well as with the cheese/meat board). We'll definitely be back!

What an unexpectedly fabulous experience! We went on a rainy Wednesday night for a birthday celebration. It was one of the few places we could find with covered outdoor dining. They have a super cute and surprisingly spacious back patio. You'd never know from looking at the storefront. This isn't a place where you sit in a table and order off the menu, as they don't have a restaurant license. When you arrive, you talk to the cheesemonger about your likes and dislikes, and place your order at the counter. We went for the charcuterie plate (5 meats/cheeses), as well as the prosciutto and seasonal fruit salad, and the tapenade. You can also choose a bottle of wine from their wine shop to enjoy out on their back patio with your food. They then bring everything out to you, and if you order a white, they'll put it on ice for you. Wine-wise, we went with the Meinklang Gruner and the Albret "La Vina De Mi Madre" cab. Both were phenomenal. Food-wise, we loved the selection of cheeses chosen (by the cheese monger) for our charcuterie board, and the prosciutto salad was fantastic. I was a little less excited about the tapenade. Neither was served with enough bread, so we wound up having to order a bit more bread (there's a $3 charge). Everyone on the staff was lovely, and the patio was so wonderful and cozy. As other reviews have said, this place truly is a hidden gem.
