I ordered delivery from this place quite a bit a couple years ago during lockdown. I was in the area and decided to dine in. Upon arriving parking was pretty easy as it’s located in a plaza. Upon entering there is a sign that’s says “Please Wait To Be Seated.” I stood near the door for quite some time and the staff (a girl behind the counter), more specifically the main waiter (heavy set Caucasian guy with red hair) walked past me at least three or four times without uttering a word. I start looking around a bit confused as I thought I was doing something wrong. A CUSTOMER approached me and asked me if I needed any suggestions or help with the menu before the staff even acknowledged me. I asked her if I needed to order at the counter and then have a seat? (as there is a sign that says the contrary.) She said she didn’t know but the place is pretty chill (Um, okay). I went to the counter and stood there and the gentlemen finally approached as if he didn’t want to take my order or I was at the wrong place. He gave me a menu and told me to have a seat anywhere, again, contrary to the sign. His whole demeanor was rude as if he didn’t want to be there or serve me. The service could use some serious work, perhaps friendlier and more welcoming staff. The girl (same one behind the counter) who help put my order in was nice once I sat down. Once my food arrived it was pretty good and hot. The gentlemen then came around after I finished my meal and asked if I needed anything else. I told him no. I had to ask for my check and then he had the audacity to ask for a tip. I hope he’s not the manager. I will not be returning or recommending this place.

Food was amazing. Had the Cali scramble and the fried chicken and pancakes. The guy who greeted us at first was very nice. After that, the service was sub par. Food got there and we didn’t have silverware. Then the waitress never came back to check on us. I asked for a coffee refill and she forgot. Had to ask someone else afterwards.Maybe it was just of off day for them. Food wise, fantastic. Would definitely return.

A great restaurant with a very spacious and picturesque patio and a wonderful menu filled with a fusion of American, Mexican and Romanian dishes, recipes and ingredients. Tried their chicken paprikash and loved it!

Mango pineapple Smoothie was delicious. Their breakfast burrito is MASSIVE. Breakfast Sandwich came with very thick strips of bacon. Everyone here was friendly and the service was quick for how many people they were serving. Nice little spot 9/10

Holy Schnitzel! Been a minute since I was here last. Now, table service and as always, an awesome menu with nods to Hungary, Austria and Mexico. As someone who grew up on goulash and paprikash, I praise the stab at schnitzel. Slightly thicker than it's Austrian counterparts, this dish was also enormous. Two pounded out chicken filets (had to box one to go) with the perfect breading and crunch. The chicken can run dry due to its thickness but the jicama and pepper slaw moisten it up. And while I appreciate the charred lemon, it unfortunately zaps the much needed juice from it. Citrus is always a wonderful counterpart to fried foods as it cuts the grease. Just wanted more. Overall, another great experience. And as usual, service is always on point.

Want to go out of my way to rave about Lemon Poppy Kitchen. Quality, unique food, great staff, amazing pasties (a GF heaven if that’s you btw…), always parking and always a quiet shady table. If this restaurant were in los feliz (And it’s better than those) it would be mobbed hourly. I cherish this spot and its delicious menu. And now they serve an excellent dinner & happy hour! (Also dog and baby/kid friendly)
