It's hard to see Mohawk Bend go! Over the last 12 years, it's been the staple of how vegan food should be presented and taste to the greater Los Angeles area, and they will be truly missed. This place has a nice vibe and staff are great. The food selection for vegans and non-vegans is nice and the food itself is delicious. It was a bit rowdy in the outdoor section on a weekend night and it made it hard to hear each other. This isn't a reflection of the restaurant itself but just something to be aware of.

As of Saturday October 7th 2023, the beloved Mohawk Bend closed its doors forever. They were among the first in the Echo Park neighborhood to offer craft brews with excellent food and vegan options. Possibly the best pizza I've ever had, excellent garlic aioli fries and hummus.Too many newer places popped up and the pandemic did a number on them. They just couldn't get the same crowds they used to.Echo Park has lost a wonderful watering hole.
