They talk too much. Their food has no flavor. The staff has attitude. It is such an unwelcoming environment that I have told all of my friends and family about and the sad part is it’s a local business, but there are attitudes and behavior completely kills everything beyond their flavorless food. Look elsewhere. There’s better Italian foods down the street. Literally.
Wow, a very nice restaurant with a bar. Great selection on the menu, but we went for pizza this time. I’ve had many pizzas in different countries, and until now the best one was at Piz in Italy — but I’ve found a new favorite. I ordered the Bacon & Honey pizza, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly baked and heavenly in taste. I truly recommend this place.

Good atmosphere and food. I sat at the bar and had the Nero Spaghetti and a Negroni.

Great Italian food in Ktown. The atmosphere, service and complimentary rosemary bread really add to the experience. Sat at the bar for dinner and the crowd was constant and lively. Pizza was great but the pasta really stood out.

Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday dinner, and it was such a great choice! The atmosphere was amazing and perfect for conversation. The lighting is a bit dim, but it really suits the vibe of the place. Every dish was delicious — from the bread to the main course, everything was so satisfying. The pasta was especially outstanding. Highly recommend! The pizza, salad, and small plates were all fantastic too. Reservation preferred. The only downside is that parking is quite difficult, and valet costs $16.

So, I feel like I can’t give a proper review until I’ve sat and tried the food, but on a first impression this place is amazing based on customer service alone. I was running late for an appointment and stopped in to hastily grab coffee before they closed as I waited for my uber. they were super understanding even though they were closing in 20 min and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. the whole experience was quite lovely and peaceful. excited to try the food here on a non rushed day
I was a bit early, but they let me and my wife in early, the food was excellent.

Osteria La Buca is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Harry, the bartender, is incredible — not only is he skilled at making amazing cocktails, but he’s also one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. He makes you feel right at home the moment you sit down.
The food is just as impressive — the cacio e pepe spaghetti is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. Every bite is heavenly. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and even better people, Osteria La Buca is the place to be!

Very accommodating, 5 stars!
We recently visited Los Angeles for the first time, and one of our friends insisted we check out Osteria La Buca, and wow, we are so glad we did!
The food was absolutely outstanding. The short rib ravioli and the bucatini carbonara are easily the best pasta dishes we've ever had. It was so delicious that we returned 2 nights later to have those two dishes as our last meals in LA! We still talk about those dishes to this day!
The service was just as memorable. The entire staff was attentive and warm, and the manager, Matt, went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of. His hospitality really elevated the entire experience.
The ambiance was perfect, cozy and very intimate.
Osteria La Buca made such an impression on us that it's now at the top of our list whenever we return to LA. Truly a gem!
