I ordered off of Uber Eats and let me tell you if the catfish breakfast is that good on delivery I definitely got to come on site and get it whennits at its peak of freshness. Fish was cooked to perfection! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 they know what they doing with the fried catfish.

I’ve truly enjoyed every visit to Puerto Nuevo Restaurant! The food is consistently delicious and full of flavor. One of my favorite meals has been the catfish and eggs — perfectly cooked and so satisfying. The chicken sausage and wings are also fantastic, and the grits are creamy and comforting. I have to say, the beans really stand out — so flavorful and well-seasoned.

Even though I’m not typically a coffee drinker, the coffee here smells amazing and tastes just as good. They also offer a wonderful selection of fresh-squeezed juices — the orange juice is always refreshing. I especially love their specialty health-focused options. I tried the Vampiro juice, made with beets, celery, cucumbers, parsley, and more — it’s incredibly fresh and packed with flavor.

Overall, Puerto Nuevo offers a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and a menu full of fresh, flavorful choices. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Tuff dry meat. Tasteless menudo. Over cooked dry potatoes. The only thing that was tasty was the pancakes and the coffee. The juices are good also. Servers are a bit too eager to clear your plates. We had to tell them twice we were not done. Glasses with ice were placed on the table but the water was never poured. What I did manage to eat - rice & beans - they gave me an upset stomach and the runs. The music was so loud we could not talk. Regrettable stop.

Since that first bite of those delicious chilaquiles con milanesa de pollo, my girlfriend and I barely miss any weekends coming here! It's been almost 6 months!!!

The food is consistently amazing - even with their takeout. I've yet to have an order come back tasting different than the last. The portions are abundant yet we hardly leave any morsels because of how enjoyable the food is. Our favorite is the chilaquiles, as mentioned, but we've also had a few other plates, like the taquitos, the chorizo plate and skillet, and the enchiladas toluquenas. Overall, I love the authentic homestyle cooking. So much so that this even competes with my mom's cooking... SSHHH!!!

The chips and salsa they bring out is tasty. We also love their rice! Also, if you can handle some heat, their spicy red salsa is fantastic! Plenty of heat without losing any of the bold flavor.

The staff and restaurant are wonderful! They recently remodeled so the interior is more up-to-date. I do miss the separate individual booths, but they get so busy that the new seating makes more sense. I'm super glad they are constantly busy, and they still get the food out in a timely manner!

I hardly write reviews, but I couldn't go without stating how this is one of my favorite restaurants. I am hoping I can make it out this weekend!

Parking: Plenty of parking in the back lot. Never have had issues finding a spot, but I typically go early morning.

I hate to write a negative review about this restaurant because we used to really enjoy it, have been frequenting it for years... but the food is horrible now. Horrible. The last few times dined it wasn't very good, but we kept going hoping they were just having a few off days...most recently, literally came home and threw up. My dad ordered an all shredded beef, wet burrito-needed a steak knife to cut through the tough tortilla and the meat was beyond chewy. I ordered a cheese enchilada and taco-the enchilada and beans were cold, the enchilada sauce had a strange flavor, and the beef taco...the shell tasted like it was cooked in very old oil and the meat was overcooked. Horrible. We also ordered guacamole, chips, and salsa-guacamole had no flavor and was just full of diced tomato and onion, very little avocado. The salsa they brought for us was watery, not a lot of flavor, and in the smallest bowl. Nice people, but the food is awful.

I was on quest to find this gem. One of the best breakfast spots all around, the Impossible Brioche Breakfast Sandwiches is unforgettable, crave worthy and addictive lol. My Ice coffee perfection. The atmosphere attentive, courteous, & clean. I'll be back many times over.

The food is ALWAYS amazing! Consistently fresh and the Mexican food specifically is top notch. We love coming here for breakfast/brunch and the prices are so reasonable. Top favorite is the Chilaquiles con Milanesa de pollo and the chorizo and egg alambre. We are trying to take all our friends here eventually lol. Must try!

I got a mexican candy smoothie today on my walk, and they had an outlet to be able to charge my phone for a little bit while I was on a walk. They were very nice here. I want to come back and try their food as well!
