Beautiful classic landmark Los Angeles theater. Paid parking lots nearby.

A Landmarks Theater, first created in Westwood where the red carpet is placed for actors with every premiere coming to the hood, for students and professionals at UCLA and all over LA.

Beautiful movie palace! Wish it had a bigger bathroom though ...

This is definitely a huge theater with a nice size screen. Not sure if the sound is as good as some other theaters though.

My first visit to the Regency Village Theatre was for the red (purple) carpet premier of Joy Ride! It was a star-studded evening including the main cast and screenwriters of the movie. The theater was regal with plush red velvet seats and a stage that seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. It's got vintage old-school charm with ornate columns, walls, and carpeting. Great spot in the heart of UCLA for some evening entertainment!

In early November I had the displeasure of meeting the theater’s manager, Obet Maldonado. Obet was extremely rude and boorish to me when I attempted to talk with him about a special request. Moreover, he lied multiple times about other instances of that request and then admitted it himself before slamming the theater door in my face. I won’t come close to the theater while that boorish man is working there and scaring off potential clients.

It's been ages since I last visited! Westwood's dining scene has diminished, but this cinema still shines for a special movie night out! ??

My favorite! Huge, old timey theater that's been well kept and very clean! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The spacious balcony is my favorite part (plus they show 70mm sometimes!!)

Just saw the Haunting In Venice and it was super cool on opening night! Always super fun to be out chillin in the West side!My Buddy was going to see this movie so I thought it would be cool to also check it out and I'm glad I did because it wasn't scary like I thought and I've been wanting to watch a scary movie and enjoyed it very much.I love the space of this theater Will definitely come back again and check out future movies

Staff is so friendly, the theatre has such a nice old feel for it and they do student discounts. The bathroom is also really fancy and there’s water fountains. Love coming here

Came here for early screening for Grantursimo. Great movie, by the way!! Gamer turns into F1 race driver!Movie theater location is close to the UCLA campus. It's pretty spacious and has a historical feel to it. Plenty of seats with great sounds.

A unique place to see a movie! I've attended a couple of premieres here, as well as catching a new flick without battling the crowds at AMC, and it's always a cool experience. There are over 800 seats and a balcony, so it has the feel of "old Hollywood." The staff is friendly, and while the seats are not as posh or comfortable as stadium seating or recliners, there is something neat about sacrificing that in order to see a film in such a neat venue.

My movie experiences at the Village are always memorably great. A classic theatre that looks brand new. There's a good chance you've seen a movie or TV show that was shot here. Quality everywhere you look.PS: The Bruin, though not quite as elaborate, is another old school movie theatre worth your time. These places are exceptional and deserve to be busy. Go and enjoy.

Haven't been here in decades! Westwood doesn't have nearly as many tasty places to eat any more but this cinema is still good for an event movie. ?

Tried the balcony and it is a great view!! Sadly Sound system not good, nor are the chairs. Arm rest do not raise and you do not have head rest either. The screen does not wrap around and you can hear the film reel as it does emit the older Hollywood vibe. This is a good place for plays but not a movie experience. Very hard to find seating here with the way it's numbered. Recommend coming here earlier to find seats. The ushers are also very strict about not having cell on while movie showing. They will come to you in middle of the show, so no sneaking around trying to find out from rotten tomatoes what the ending is!!
