My faith in humanity has been seriously elevated!! Mariano, the owner of this shop just found my mother in law who was lost and has dementia. While we were searching the streets with the police, Mariano saw her, and without knowing her at all, saw that she was confused and tried to help her. He invited her inside the coffee shop, gave her food and a drink and did some crazy detective work to find my wife and call her. This could have ended horribly without them.

Great little unpretencious "European style" coffee shop, though the guy that runs it is from Argentina, which explains the great empanadas he serves. There is also juice, smoothies and pastries. I like to stop in for an espresso after a library run. Close your eyes and you could be in Italy (or Argentina). With the exception of cold brew there are no acknowledgments of the "third wave" scene, so dont come here asking for some nonsense.
