Great place, unfortunately this location is closing due to high rent in the building. Sad to see it leave.

I'm a fan! It's fast casual American-Asian. The service is usually good. The employees are always friendly! The space is clean. Plenty of parking. The food shines in it's portion-to-price ratio. You get AMAZING bang for your buck with this chain. 2 item combination plates around $12 include 2 salads/sides and rice. I'm a big eater and usually end up taking part home. 1 item bowls are around $9, but again, you get SO much food! SanSai is definitely not your huge selection Sushi restaurant, but you can still get your sushi/teriyaki groove on and still have some money left to get a Coffee Bean treat next door!

Don't forget the homemade hot sauce! That's reason enough to go there...

Salads are good and fresh. Rice is very good. Plenty of chicken in the bowl but a little dry. Friendly service.

Great staff and consistently good food. This is a fast casual food spot, so don't expect table service. I've been to the location near LMU multiple times and only once was there a hiccup. Hey everyone has an off day sometime. The steak bowl with kale salad is my go to. The tempura is also very good. For the price, this is a great place to grab a quick bite.

Another great experience with SanSai. Foods really good, fresh and generous portions. Employees are attentive and super nice. Parking is abundant. I am updating my rating from 4 to 5 only because the experience and food exceeds my expectations.

It's good and clean. It's satisfactory. I see it like this. There's Subway and then there's Jersey Mike's. There's McDonald's and then there's In N out, There's Am PM suchi and then there's San Sai

I've been coming here for more than 2 years. The sushi is "amazingly fresh" and the service is really good. Try the "Kia san-sai" (squid) Delishhh.

Chicken was dry and tasted like cardboard. Salad had no flavor.

The one by my house off of Rosecrans is always understaffed. Service is terrible - the food is ok.

Very good food but it's a no service restaurant. You enter, read the menu on the monitors and make your line and order. They will call you when your order is ready. I was disappointed because I was looking for good food and sit down to be served.

This place has a lot to offer on their menu. Friendly staff and clean. It can get busy at times, especially around seven. Good place to come with friends.
