Ever since I went to Belize in 2014 I've been trying to find the cuisine. Fryjacks for breakfast ? Oxtail, beans & rice, plantains and potato salad(mayo) or cabbage slaw(vinegar). Can't go wrong with the fried fish either. The owners are always so friendly. Thanks for a delicious meal every time. Can't miss spot when passing through LA. Best Belizean food in SoCal.

The food was great. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the price. I paid $27.38 for this plate. Flavor wise I wouldn’t change anything but portion wise for the price, I’d prefer more oxtail. It was a nice portion of the rice and peas. The potato salad was tasty as well. The plantain was just okay, it was covered in the gravy so I didn’t pick up much flavor from it. I do like how generous they were with the oxtail gravy! Although I will splurge on food I guess the $27.38 felt a bit much because the menu said $23. I’d definitely say it’s worth trying.

On a journey to find some real Belizean food Keep looking you only getting 4 pieces of oxtail for 28 dollar and they ain't big more Rice and beans than anything and the potatoe salad is unsatisfactory tried coleslaw not good I would only recommend the breakfast lol

This place is Soo good! Omg ? I have gone one time and they said the they were out of food, so ever since I call beforehand and make sure they have enough food lol. You have to order when you get there, but the food comes out immediately... It's definitely worth a visit! My fav is the chicken, it's Soo juicy
