Ever since I went to Belize in 2014 I've been trying to find the cuisine. Fryjacks for breakfast ?
Oxtail, beans & rice, plantains and potato salad(mayo) or cabbage slaw(vinegar).
Can't go wrong with the fried fish either.
The owners are always so friendly.
Thanks for a delicious meal every time. Can't miss spot when passing through LA.
Best Belizean food in SoCal.
The food was great. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the price. I paid $27.38 for this plate. Flavor wise I wouldn’t change anything but portion wise for the price, I’d prefer more oxtail. It was a nice portion of the rice and peas. The potato salad was tasty as well. The plantain was just okay, it was covered in the gravy so I didn’t pick up much flavor from it. I do like how generous they were with the oxtail gravy! Although I will splurge on food I guess the $27.38...
got the stewed chicken and it was delicious, well seasoned and the portion was big. will definitely be coming back to get the oxtail next time, i came at like 2pm on a Monday and they were already sold out ? but that's how you know the food is good!!

the guys who work here are really friendly and quick, this spot is a gem
