Great drinks with a deep bench of Japanese whisky. Can get very crowded and lively on the weekends. Music was millennial nostalgic which was a lot of fun and fit our group very well. Bathroom is single occupancy so a line tends to build up.

Great bar and cocktails, however I am leaving a negative review because their bartenders added a tip on my credit card transaction when I know for a fact I did not tip on my credit card because I left a 20% cash tip. Shady dealings. Shame on the greedy bartenders for this. Working in the same industry as them, these are just really bad practices because this ends up coming back to the business owner, when it’s not their fault. Bartenders need to do better than this.

Dusty is the best bar tender at this charming Japanese styled hipster bar. Ask for the secret cocktail a “Negroni sour” and you won’t regret it.

Good cocktails with a unique menu and great atmosphere. Menu online is incorrect, new cocktails are being served. I attached a photo of the new menu. Bartenders are kind but stretched thin. Only two had to help more than 30 people, so it made the wait long, which isn't their fault.

10/10 would grab a drink and chill with the homies again. Only downside is one restroom only and the line can get quite long depending on how packed it is. BANGER MUSIC

Disrespectful staff. Unnecessary.(After waiting 10 min)Bartender: what can i get you?Me: 2 waters and one Golden Hour*Bartender delivers the 2 waters and does not return*20 minutes later another patron comes up *too close* next to me and orders drinks.Me: wait, what about the golden hour i ordered a while ago?Bartender: you didn't order anything before.Me: bro, i ordered 2 waters and a golden hour 20 minutes ago.Bartender: I'll get to it after I finish serving this guy. This guy: order what you want, I'll pay for it.Me(on a date with someone else): no. I'll order separately.*Bartender didn't return*Do not go here. They're too disrespectful.

Good cocktails, great whiskey selection. Bonus is that there's a well-ventilated patio type space near the front door so you don't need to get sick.
I've heard enough about this place that I want to go back again, but my first impression was a little disappointing.I ordered the Midnight Oil which tasted pretty much exactly what I expected (cold brew) which is good but it was also not particularly inspiring. My friends ordered different drinks but none of them seemed particularly impressed. This leads me to believe next time I should try the whiskey flights because maybe this is just not the best spot for cocktails. It was not difficult for us to find a table and space for our group. However, the bar was extremely busy so placing orders took a long time. In terms of the staff's ability to serve, it was great. It just took a long time to get it done and there was no clear queue or order to the people crowded around the bar. Even one person working the floor to get orders might have made a difference. The space and decor was really delightful, but the music and atmosphere was pretty typical for a noisy LA bar. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but considering it is a Japanese whiskey bar in little Tokyo, I was kind of expecting more Japanese sensibility to the atmosphere as to what I might expect from a bar in Japan.I definitely intend to go back, probably just at a less busy time and with a more whiskey focus.

This place is a vibe the moment you walk in.The music is popping and everyone comes to dance. They have multiple sitting options from patio, high tables, a full bar with a great selection of Japanese whiskey ? and craft cocktails, mini tables with mini stools, bench sitting around the main dance floor near the DJ booth.DJ Jon Doe was spinning and it’s all groovy nostalgia hits to get everyone jamming, shaking their thang, getting low, and sing/bop to.Hip-hop, underground, r&b, pop, Latin mix, classic hits, and mash ups with edm.All the good stuff even if you wanna get low get low get low…They have a disco ball and spinning laser lights with a club feel, but still feels open enough to move through. As long as you move to the beat you’re all good. The people who come are chill, mixed crowd of mid 20’s-40’s, mingle with cool peeps from different clicks, Asians, Latinos, and everyone else all up in the mix.Trendy hip with a chill dtla vibe.Went on a Saturday night it was was poppin’ at 10pm and pretty much stayed until last call. There was still a bunch of ppl there dancing and living it up.

Wolf and Crane is a great bar with a ton of whiskey options. I love that. I will be back!I don't love the lack of seating, the overly packed inside, and what felt like no air conditioning. It took forever to get to a bartender and sometimes there was only one available. Definitely gonna need more bar tenders with so many people. I highly recommend for them to add some more seating, some how, and/or have a limit to how many people are inside. Whiskey flights are only on Wednesdays? That's... Odd to me. I hope they change this to every day.- note- their non alcoholic drinks are actually super good! Bring your DD happily haha.Definitely an amazing whiskey selection and I really can't wait to try more.
