2 stars for service and ordering. 5 stars for the beer and 4 stars for the food. Went there for dinner with 4 people. Told we had to order using the QR code. Never saw anyone again for 2 hours until we were ready to leave. No one came by to see how we were doing, clear dirty dishes, bring us water, etc. couldn’t ask questions about the beer or food. Only way to get anyone’s attention was to order something else and wait for them to bring it. Only 2 servers for the entire restaurant that we saw. I ended up ordering what I thought was a salad with ahi and I got a chicken salad with ahi on it. The online ordering said I had to choose a protein so I picked ahi. just buy their amazing barrel aged beers and take them to go. You will get zero personal service.

Great place with choice of excellent classical beers and also surprising combinations very interesting to taste in small samples (e.g. mix of beer and white wine aged in whiskey barrels).I would recommend also the smashed burger!

If you can't make it to the original location (e.g., you're headed to LAX), this isn't a bad second place. Really cool selection of Propagator-specific beers, plus a range of the famous barrel-aged heavy stuff on-tap. The company store isn't particularly big, but with quality stuff (Yetis, jackets, etc.) and a huge walk-in fridge full of vintage options at fair prices.

Big patio, easy parking, good California craft beer (lots of IPAs), tasty burgers. Great spot on an a nice day to sit outside. Fig jam burger stood out. Best tasting NA beer. Gabby saved the day moving tables around for us to watch college football outside.
