This place has the worst service I've ever experienced. I stood in line for 25 minutes where there is no one waiting line and empty table are available, so I had to leave for another restaurant next door.

Ordered breakfast. I had the traditional breakfast. I was hungry and wanted a big breakfast. Unlike the experience from others, who had something delicious, the vegetable oil was rancid which was very noticeable when one smells or tastes the hashbrowns. It was sad to be served food that was cooked with rancid vegetable oil. I hope they throw the oil out and replace it with something new. No one asked how the food was, so I figured I'd share it here so that you might know what not to order (I guess oatmeal might be the best option to avoid the rancid oil). Good luck, I'm fortunately making the choice to avoid eating there.

Best breakfast and lunch in Menlo park. Been around since WW2.

Old fashion coffee shop brings me back to simpler years. Good portion food. Started coming here over 25 years ago with my toddler kids. Now my kids are all adults and we still come here on the weekends (can't right now during Covid). My kids love their hot chocolate with whip cream. Coffee is just so so, but you can always go to Peet's down the street to get your caffeine fix

We had breakfast today. I know there are a number of great reviews here and I wish our experience lived up to what many have experienced. Okay, food looked great. The outdoor seating was great. My sister-in-law remarked that her food was bland. I started eating the hash browns. Yes, they looked great, but they were cooked in rancid oil. I could smell it, my wife could smell it when I asked her opinion. I have cooked way better food at home, and I know when oil smells like what my food was cooked in you throw it out and don't serve it to customers unless that's how you value your customers. I don't expect to have food cooked in rancid oil and this was my first time and last time dining at Ann's. I would avoid eating at Ann's.

Classic dinner vibe with all your usual comfort foods.. and we know we need it for 2020.

Good, simple home made food. The blueberry pancakes are absolutely delicious! Also, the eggs and hash browns are very good. Would definitely come back.

It was pleasant and good food with a friendly waitress. And not a long wait time

Love the old timey feel of Ann’s. The food was excellent and coffee was on point. Wonderful service as well, will be bringing more people back here.

This is by far the best place for breakfast in Menlo Park!!

This is a good throwback old school diner, basic comfort food prepared fine and good service. Please note, they do not post a menu online, if you use the one from shopmenlopark.com the prices posted there are about half of what is actually charged (perhaps an outdated menu) - the actual prices are high for the basic fare.

Make sure you get the girl and not the tall male server. While he was giving me the password for the WIFI he was busy cleaning his dirty fingernails at my table. I had already ordered coffee when I arrived. I did not order food. Not with his dirty habits. Shame I can not give them a negative -5 star review.

It was great! Amazing food and service. I had no idea that this was here. I’ve lived here for 12 years and I’ve never known that it was here... anyways, it’s great!! (And for those people who are complaining about the cash thing, it has it has a sixties theme. Where credit cards a thing then? No, no they weren’t. )
