I'd you haven't tried their pastries or cakes YOU MUST. I am in love with their cupcakes, I'd buy their cakes more often, but as a single person it doesn't make much sense (I've done anyways, shh keep my secret). Absolutely worth a try.

Gerry's Bakery is absolutely amazing! We were in town for a volleyball tournament on my daughter's 16th bday and I needed a cake to serve 50-60 people. We made all the arrangements over the phone and the strawberry shortcake came out beautiful, delicious, and I was treated like family. I feel very blessed to have found Gerry's and would encourage everyone to support this business, they deserve it. Anytime I find myself near Menlo Park I will stop and patronize. I ordered a custom baby shower cake from Gerry's Cakes. My inquiry and questions were quickly responded to. I sent a few inspiration photos and the cake turned out better than I could have imagined. It was just beautifully decorated. The flavor was strawberry shortcake and it was truly delicious. There wasn't any left after the party. If you need a custom cake design I'd highly recommend.

Sad so to have ordered a rum cake for my husband's birthday only to have ZERO taste of rum and rather tasteless all together. They no longer use a sponge cake for this specialty, just a yellow cake, which is too dense and soaks up no rum. Little flavor, way too much whipped cream icing. It looked so pretty in the box. An expensive disappointment!
