Used to be one of my favorite pastry spots now it is just continuous disappointment. Initially, I thought the missing passion fruit jam from the exotic pavlova a few weeks ago was just a one-time thing, but now the raspberry jam is missing from the raspberry whirlwind as well. Super disappointed.

I ordered a ice latte and it was superb, the turkey sandwich was amazing and the almond croissant was the best part!

I don’t know what happened.Croissants and pain au chocolat used to be supreme here now they’re just average, if not awful. ?Responding to owner.I've been coming to this place for years, remember when it just started. It was awesome. I would drive to Palo Alto just for the pain au chocolat.Sometimes my tastebuds are off, but this was not the case, both the croissant and the pain au chocolat were soggy, not crispy as they used to be.When lady who started it used to run it and was there every day, this would probably never happen, and I'm pretty sure that her response would not talk about my tastebuds.I did not mean to be mean by posting the original review, I still drive an hour just to have the pastries here, but I'm sorry to see the service and quality slowly deteriorate.

Bringing authentic frenchness in California is a huge achievement, Mademoiselle Collette nailed it! From outstanding croissants that could challenge many places in France to the excellent croque madame for a great brunch, and of course the amazing fine patisseries are a must..... The place is charming, bringing a good souvenir of so many French places.....

We have been coming to this place for French croissants including almond croissants. We noticed each year for the last three, the croissants get lighter in weight and the prices rose each time we came here. The place is nice and services are just okay and nothing great about the services. This last time we came we did not buy the almond croissant because they looked so flat and beat up set on a separate dish - very unattractive. My conclusion is the owner is smarter than customers by raising prices and reducing the croissant size. I call that a double inflation. We will probably go elsewhere for the croissants after all we gave this place chances to improve ( a naive thinking) for the last three years?Very disappointed.

Stick with the pastries...The two of us weren't very hungry so we split the crab Benedict and a passionfruit pavlova. The crab Benedict was more like a crab sandwich with the brioche bun. The egg was poached nicely, however the crab portion was more like a small spoonful of crab salad, and very fishy at that. The pavlova was good! Light, not too sweet, crunchy and passion-fruity!We went at 1pm on a Saturday and most of their pastries were sold out, so go early if you have your heart set on a specific one (their kouign amann is fantastic).Indoor and two small outdoor (in front by the sidewalk and back patio) dining areas. Dog friendly.

Such a cute little brunch bakery spot! I had avocado toast with side of salad & that was good. Now my favorite obsess dessert from this place was the isigny butter puff pastry & vanilla bean cream. I would get this again and again if I could

Wonderful food and even nicer people. I look forward to going there almost every morning. Beautiful way to start your day or share a lunch treat.

Everything we have ever gotten here has been absolutely delicious. Weekend mornings are really crowded so be ready to wait in a line. It goes quickly though! There is lovely outdoor seating! Be warned that they aren’t the friendliest about children. We are used to that here in the Bay Area though. Great for breakfast or just pastries. The pastries change regularly which keeps up coming back to try new things.
