Not a big fan. Food are a little too bland and not as authentic portions are small too! The Rendang wasn't spicy and I can only taste coconut out milk. feeling a little disappointed not recommend if you really want an authentic food

HOLE IN THE WALL Alert! Kopitam is a wonderful, family friend business of mine. Great food, friendly Singaporean Family owned. Why is it worth the taste? Not because of the store. Not because of the location. But because of the great mildly spicy unique flavors, related to common asian food of other cultures, except the uniquness of Singapore. Currently they only have take out, that is meal preped ready to microwave. Worth it! Try it! Know it! Keep coming back for it!

The open sign is up. We just got here and the employees just keep saying we need to do online order. But we can't find any link to this restaurant. We called and no one answered. The employees are confused and confused us as well. I think the restaurant need better training to the employees and also clarify the status on Yelp. I drove all the way down from trivially for the food!!! So disappointed!

I ordered this takeout from Kopitiam cafe and I was so shocked when I opened the box. One box looks like left-over from some dishes. The rice are still raw. The noodle sticks together. I can't imagine that a restuarant can cook food like this. It was shockingly awful.

Ordered thru Saywee, it is horrible in every way. - missing the dessert that is part of the meal. - missing the fried rice, I think they subbed with some noodles when I already have 2 noodles in my order. But the Asian noodles used cheese as topping? - curry puffs ~ burnt at the bottom - chicken skewers ~ burnt. - the worst part: the rice noodles is sour!! Even there were times I forgot I had food in the fridge for 2 weeks, they still don't smell even if I choose to throw it away but how can they serve you food that actually smelled bad to begin with? Went straight to trash. Stink so bad I had to close the trash and took it outside immediately. - the only thing that seems normal was the ribs but with all the smelly food, I'm afraid this might be old too since they all came in the same box.

I came on a Sunday around noon and ordered their weekend special: chicken rice. It took ~30 mins for my order to be ready so I suggest maybe ordering ahead if you can. The chicken rice was flavorful and the chicken was tender. The portions were pretty big! It came with some cucumber slices and two dipping sauces. Of course, the ginger sauce and some kind of chili one. Both were savory and went well with chicken and rice! They have kaya toast here which is probably the only place I know of so far that has it. Kaya is a coconut pandan jam. I love it so much, I asked if they sell just the jam and they do in a small container! So if you love it as much as I do, definitely ask about it. It looked like this place is family-owned which makes me even happier to support :)

The family and I stopped by on our way from SJ because I was craving Singaporean dishes (specifically the Nasi Lemak!) this whole week. Called ahead of time to see if there was any outdoor dining available since we were also bringing our puppy along and was told kindly that there was! Dining is shared with a couple other eateries, but is socially distanced and under shade. We got the Nasi Lemak Chicken Curry, Stew Pork Rice, and weekend special, Chicken Rice. No pictures because we devoured them before we could take them! We also got the Kaya toast (see picture) and that was absolutely the cherry on top of this whole lunch. $2 for 4 slices??? What a steal. Absolutely loved the Nasi Lemak curry sauce and the boneless chicken meat was cooked to moist and soft perfection, which paired really nicely with the rice! The Stew Pork was similarly delectable with the rice. Only thing that could be improved is possibly the chicken in the chicken rice--- I think it could use more seasoning, or flavor in the steaming/cooking process. Without the oil rice or the sauces, it was just a tad bit on the blander side (speaking as someone who loves flavor), but it was still very moist and cooked nicely. Oil rice could also be just a tad less dry, or use more flavor/oil. Otherwise, I loved this place and would definitely come back with friends if it weren't so far from the east bay side. Would recommend.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while at a friend's recommendation. They tend to change their hours at the last minute, so be sure to call in day of your visit. I remember calling about 2 days before (I'm in Sacramento) and they said they would be open on New Years day and then I saw they changed their hours on Yelp the day of to be closed, which was a bit frustrating. Anyhow the 2nd time was a charm and sadly, they close early at 230pm despite having lunch and dinner fare. We opted for brunch with the kaya toast and peanut pancake along with a mocha and singaporean/Malaysian milk tea. Everything was really good. Though I can see why the toast is so cheap at $2, it's 2 small pieces of white bread cut into 4 pieces with the coconut cream inside. If you're really hungry, you might want to order 2, but my husband and I shared that and the peanut pancake ($7) which was a lot more filling as expected for the price. The milk tea was really good and authentic. Not sugary like your average boba tea shop. The tea shines through. For sone reason my husband's mocha was much bigger even though he didn't order a larger size. Overall a solid 4 stars. I wish they were open later so we can try their other items.

Had our Sunday lunch with hubby here yesterday. I had Laksa with yong tau fu. Kopitiam Cafe, without a doubt, has the BEST laksa in the Bay Area. I had that ratatouille moment with that first "bite" into my laksa and it transported me back home to the Singapore laksa I grew up with. This is not the first time we ate this. It always taste right and it always taste good! Thanks Toca and Amy !!

Authentic Malay style curry chicken! Ordered a pickup for curry chicken noodle, curry chicken coconut rice and kaya toast. We liked the kaya toast very much, it was my favorite snack in childhood. The curry chicken was tender and spicy. In overall, I recommended their tender chicken curry and kaya toast, affordable menu. Keep digging treasures from them!

Good lunch. Long time to wait, about 20 mins. Is ok, but just because my lunchtime is strict. Hot rice. Fish curry like fish nuggets with curry sauce. When I warmed up some leftovers in microwave, still smelled the shrimp paste in the curry. First time to try sweet shrimp paste separately with cucumber and little dried anchovies together. Not bad.

Called in at 11am on a Saturday to place an order and food was ready within 15min! Roti - 5/5 - the roti was crispy, flaky and the curry given was just nice for every bite to have enough curry. Kaya toast - 4.5/5 - at $2, we really enjoyed this. The kaya and butter was such a good combination, and the kaya was so sweet and creamy. The toast was a little hard but still crispy for a takeout order. Kopi - 4/5 - quite close to Singapore kopi if there was condensed milk! Teh Tarik - 3.5/5 - this tasted more like Hong Kong milk tea but it was still good. Mee siam with shrimp - 2/5 - at $12, this was the most expensive dish we ordered. It is similar to Singapore mee siam but not quite there as it was not spicy at all and lacking that sour savory taste.

I went to pick up an order today and the man there was NOT wearing a mask!! When I asked him if he prepared the food without a mask he became extremely angry and rude!! I left without my order and will DEFINITELY NOT be going back there again!!!

It sucks because I want to support local small businesses and try their food but they're always closed... even their open hours on weekdays are very odd.

I got takeout and ordered their roti, kaya toast, and chicken curry. The roti was still quite crunchy when I got home, and the peanut sauce that came with it elevated the flavors. I tried kaya toast for the first time and enjoyed it. The jam was not too sweet and the bread was nice and toasted, just wish that the portion was bigger. The curry had great flavors, but it was definitely too spicy for me (disclaimer: I am typically more used to milder curries in terms of spice level, but everyone has their own preferences). I also found a shrimp shell/tail in my curry and actually bit into it before spitting it out, so one star off for that. Overall, would probably recommend this place if you like spicy foods or for their sides.
